The drive thru is very convenient and a lot faster then Starbucks, but I have to give them 2 stars because the coffee is just not good. It's very weak, almost like drinking water. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, so I might I try them again to see if it's any different. But other than that, the service was good. read more

The new location next to Chuze Fitness & Home Depot is great and has room for meetings and local band performances . Great atmosphere, friendly service and reasonable prices! I came here to work for a couple hours and was super comfortable. The menu had some interesting specialty drinks, but I'm not a big fan of super sweet drinks so I didn't partake. The food options were pretty limited and didn't appear particularly exciting (i.e. Saran wrapped muffins and bagels). However, the seating was very comfy and I got a latte and a banana for only $3.50. I will probably be back to work tomorrow morning. read more

This is a new coffee place on corner of Mast and Carlton Hills, and I'm delighted they have a drive through. It's really convenient just to zip through here, instead of having to drive down to congested Mission Gorge for the Starbucks. Prices are reasonable and service is always friendly. read more

I went to the location next to chuze fitness, not sure if the Carlton hills location is still open? but Can't wait to try other drinks! Possibly my favorite coffee shop ever. This place has the BEST blended drinks. For some reason I have had a couple hot drinks, and they taste very different from the blended version. It is family-owned, and they seem very nice, love places like that. DEFINITELY recommend...have to try if you're in the area. read more

I came to the coffee corner yesterday morning at 8:30 am. There was two people in front of me when I drove up to the drive-through line. It took 30 mins for me to finally get my drink, I left the drive thru line at 9am! They didn't even offer to give me my drink free. I chose to go to this drive thru instead of Starbucks cus I thought it would be much shorter but it was not! I will never be coming back to this coffee shop again! Waiting in the drive thru line for coffee for 30 mins when only two other cars were in front of me is utterly ridiculous!!! They only had two people working, maybe they should get more workers and customers wouldn't get so mad and get drinks in a timely manner! read more

I drive past this place at least 3 times a week and I always wondered if it was any good. This morning I was out of coffee !!! As I was zipping by wondering if I could find an unnamed coffee drive through some where between Santee and my destination, I swung into the drive thru. There was no menu or order speaker, so up to the window I go. Was greeted by a very pleasant young lady, I was in a hurry so I just asked for an iced coffee thinking it would be weak and tasteless. As I drove away I grabbed a quick sip and was pleasantly surprised. Best cold brew I have had in a long time!!! I will definitely be going back again and again!!!! Today I visited our local coffee corner. I have stayed away for a few years now Because the last owner had zombies running it. I know I'm bias because I spent 4 of my most memorable young adult years working for Mike when he owned Grindz and I loved that place. So today's. Experience was ok. I was on my way out of town and decided it was a good time to try the coffee corner since it's new ownership. It was upsetting to me that I waited at least 20 minutes to get threw 2 cars and the process of making my iced soy Latte. The only reason I was timing it was because I needed to be out of Santee by830 I arrived at 822 and didn't leave the drive thru until 847. Yikes!!. I have to say I thought the coffee was great. And I think they might have a new person working because she was unfamiliar with what a quad shot was. But all that doesn't bother me.I just don't want to wait that long for my coffee. I will defiantly try it again someday. Give my self sometime just in case and let y'all know how it goes. I am glad to know I have an option other than Starbucks and the other coffeeshop near by I named it the holy grounds... Let's just say I don't need a bible with my coffee thanks. read more

Recently moved to Santee and so glad I found this place, my absolute favorite place in town(location near Chuze fitness). The staff is so amazing and friendly they always brighten my day. The drinks are delicious, my favorite is the pumpkin pie latte with whipped cream. During my pregnancy the gentleman who is always working when I stop in would make me a special blended caffeine-free drink that was to die for! He was also extremely knowledgeable of the caffeine content in each drink(you wont find that at any other coffee shop) which made me feel relaxed giving in to my pregnancy cravings. At one point the staff member was on a lunch break and got up from his break just to make me my favorite drink! This place is great all around, I highly highly recommend! read more

Definitely a 3 star at best. My cappaciono was not even up to SBX quality. Should have anticipated an issue when I was asked how much foam I wanted. I said std - 1/3, 1/3, 1/3. What I got was too hot. It was also so heavy on milk there was no real coffee flavor. Not worth a return trip. read more

i've been going here since it was called grindz when i was a kid. i love it cuz its a local business and they keep that small town feel to the place. the new owner keeps the old charm but has upgraded a lot of things. i love all there specialty blended drinks. they are way better than starbucks. so happy to see that they are still up and running. i cant wait to tell my kids thats where i use to go on the way to school everyday haha read more

The coffee is pretty good here. Drive thru is awesome, service is great too. The only thing I'd change is if they could put the cream cheese on the bagels for you. It's kind of a hassle to do it yourself while driving. If they could change that I'd give them 7 stars! read more
