Our pick up order was: -Chicken Ala Max: cooking style similar to that of the famous Max's Restaurant, not dry and had a great crisp. It came with a housemade mang tomas sauce. If you don't like liver, I would be cautious of Mang Tomas since it is made from that! -Pinakbet: pretty standard, but it had bagoong cooked throughout it and that's all I could ever need. -Hopia: I am not a fan in general, but my mother-in-law liked it -Chicken Inasal: Not dry at all and great marinade over it! -Manila Sweet Pork Sandwich: This is the pinoy version of a Bahn Mi. Usually it operates from Tuesday through Friday (lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner from 5pm-8pm) with later hours on weekends. They have amazing pulled pork nachos with topped with pico de gallo and nacho cheese. It's their top selling item, and no wonder, it's delicious! The breaded tenderloin is also quite tasty, with a well crusted cover and toppings of a sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich left a little more to be desired. It had delicious pulled pork but it needed some sandwich toppings or more BBQ sauce (which you can ask for). Both sandwiches come with greasy fries, perfect for a late night bar crawl.
