I came to this location for the first time and I got my free upgrade but what they did because they had done a medium size one already they threw the mace drink back into the blender and added ICE and milk to the drink. I really enjoy this location because it has a drive through and the service is amazing. The baristas are very knowledgeable and when I ask for recommendations they never disappoint. The ambience is great for students that need a place to study or if you need a quiet place to work from. They also offer outdoor seating. I also love that their app offers deals and rewards on their food and drinks. QUICK SERVICE & GREAT LOCATION! I really like this Coffee Bean on Day St, it's right across the street from a nice hotel and it's near the hub of Moreno Valley (mall, movie theater, loads of eateries, and more). It's surprisingly still very quiet inside and relaxed. I came in to try their winter selection and got a frappe! My Mom gets really tasty gingerbread cookies from here, so we decided to grab one while we were here, I highly recommend them! The inside of the store is pretty spacious but there was a bunch of tables and chairs clumped together the day we went in and it looked a bit messy. It took up seat space and was awkward. Nasty and disgusting. HEALTH DEPARTMENT alert. Get out of your car and go inside dont order from your vehicle (so you can check things out). This place had a plastic cover on the counter with containers of powder for the drinks with bugs flying all over the counter, some sitting on the plastic, hovering over the powder with some inside. They were told to cover the containers and the response was that they couldn't find them. Notice there pics perhaps posted afterward with lids, some on, some off, trying to play this off. The person in charge was also told. Her name will be spared here, but she pretended there was nothing she could do as if this was normal. When asked who owned the place she said it was Jollie Bee or whatever, she did not care. Bottom line is, this plqce is A NO and certainly a HEALTH RISK. The drink ordered was thrown out due to possible blended bugs and larvae. This opens a door to safety and who owns the place, what kind of training employees have, is there a food handlers cert required, how often is an inspection done? Also, they were unable to provide a receipt when asked at the window. Had to go inside to get it and wait for the manager to come from lunch in the back. Good things come to those who wait. Never would have seen the bugs. Very unsanitary location wrong folks running the place. Also if someone came in sick they could sneeze and cough all over the drink powder. I just had to stop by after my stay at the Holiday Inn, the drive thru was quick and efficient compared to other locations I frequent. The drink itself was perfectly made but the quality of their breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon is severely lacking (but that's a corporate issue itself, they should replace the sandwich altogether because it's worse than the Starbucks ones). I used to love this place, but things have changed. The workers here are NOT pleasant. That was one of my favorite things about this place. The ice blended drinks (my usual) have not been up to standard; they still have large ice chunks in them. The food is the same prepackaged stuff, can't get anything altered for allergies. The new update to the app is utter crap and the workers won't let me use my phone number instead (which has never been a problem before). Ambiance is typical coffee shop chill vibes. There's usually only 3-5 people sitting at the tables after like 5 pm so it's really relaxed and quiet here. Bathroom is clean which is a huge plus. Plenty of outlets. Needless to say, I got Coffee at the gas station, and won't ever be back to this or any Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I prefer to give my business to companies that appreciate their customers and treat them like humans. Gas station coffee is terrible, but still better than dealing with the rude employees at this location. If you want a better cup of coffee, there is a Starbucks a quarter mile away where the staff is friendly, welcomes you in the door, and they trust the customers to use the restrooms like adults, and don't make you order something before they give you the code to unlock the restroom door. read more
