A bushwick staple, best place to pregame before the party. You can play pool, hit the karaoke or relax and get a drink. Highly recommend and will always stop by this bar when in the area.

Really nice divebar with good deals. We grabbed the beer + shot special for less than $10. WHAT A DEAL. It can get really loud and crowded, so beware

In the area to catch a show around the corner so we came in here to kill some time. Sat at the bar for drinks, Tito's & cranberry for me not bad, good amount of alcohol my friend had a Jameson & ginger ale good as well. We relaxed here for a little bit, dimly lit definitely a dive bar type of place , service at the bar was good & prices are pretty cheap .. decent place to get drinks. Next time around went with some beer can't go wrong this time around the place was pretty crowded not bad over all this place is good for Just hanging & getting some drinks.

Doughnuts made by the shop Dough! Flavors that range from hibiscus to dulce de leche!

I loved this place right off the bat! The atmosphere was welcoming and the tunes were amazing! Nothing quiet beats the heat it the middle of the day like listening to the Clash, drinking a delicious iced coffee and eating a yummy bran muffin with chunks of ginger. I was drooling over the "Dough"nuts! They had flavors from Dulce De Leche to Hibiscus! Next time! I will definitely be returning.

All one stars are completely accurate. Come here if you like rude staff and drinks with just a splash of alcohol

Review Highlights - The Cobra Club

Cobra is the kind of bar that puts on metal yoga on Sundays, self defense classes during the week, and karaoke late at night on Fridays.

Kala Yoga in Bushwick is a bit of a hike no matter which direction you are coming from, whether it…read moreis the J or the L train. I personally find the walk longer when coming from the J train and getting off at Myrtle Avenue. The L train is about the same distance, though if you are not familiar with the area it can be a little confusing to find the L train. I visited both Kala Yoga locations during my intro week, which I purchased for forty dollars. One location is in Williamsburg and the other is in Bushwick. The Williamsburg studio is more convenient for me personally. It is smaller but cozy and easy to get to. You can take the J train, get off at Marcy Avenue, and walk over to Driggs Avenue without much trouble. The staff at both locations are lovely. Very nice to talk to. Unfortunately, I was not able to fully enjoy my intro week due to my schedule, but I did manage to take two heated vinyasa classes. Both instructors were great. I especially enjoyed Jake's Sunday class at twelve fifteen at the Williamsburg location. I really wanted to take other classes to try different instructors. Definitely next time I will. There is a clear difference between warm, heated, and hot classes. The heated classes felt good and comfortable. They were not humid like most hot yoga studios. I doubt the room reaches ninety degrees. It felt closer to eighty. That said, the heat was comfortable, though I personally would not mind it being slightly warmer. The Bushwick location has a wider layout. There is one yoga room and it is long and spacious. The natural lighting is more on the mild side. The Williamsburg location is smaller and more cozy, with better natural lighting. The yoga room there is wide but not overly large like the one in Bushwick. Both studios are very clean. Mats are hung instead of folded, which I appreciated. Props are available, and if you do not bring a mat or towel, you can request one. The Bushwick location has small lockers, while Williamsburg uses cubbies. They also sell merchandise, and I ended up purchasing a few items. Overall, whether you are closer to Bushwick or Williamsburg, Kala Yoga was a great experience. I appreciate studios that prioritize cleanliness, community, and good energy. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to many other yoga studios. I will definitely be going back.

Best yoga studio in Bushwick! Beautiful space, highly experienced teachers and warm community. 10/10read more
