This shop has had so many owners over the years that I've lost count, and it seems to have had just as many makeovers! It's most recent incarnation is by far the most slick I can remember, which maybe isn't surprising given it's branding.
Although this is only a small village shop it's difficult to remember that with styling and furnishings more in-keeping with it's large urban counterparts. There is also an amazing selection of goods crammed into the small space, which doesn't mean that this shops cramped. Ok, so the aisles are narrow, but then it's never going to be so busy that this is an issue it's well presented, it's well stocked, the staff recognise you and you them.
It's friendly and personable, and whilst it's no the cheapest in the world it's by no stretch of the imagination the most expensive. read more
