    The Club DFW

2 stars (otherwise I'd rate this negative stars)for the nice staff who were obviously overworked and stressed. The place was jam packed to the gills. Not one table was free. They warned me it would be a very tight fit but I wasn't planning on staying long. I just wanted to get a look in. I walked in and it was ridiculously crowded. I'm talking not one table or stool. The staff tried to sit me at this woman's table since she had an extra seat but she didn't looked too pleased. She looked aged before her time actually, maybe learning to travel would help her so she didn't look so haggard? I dunno, but sensing she was about to sprout either a new grey hair or another worn line in her forehead, I decided to just have a gander at things and bounce. It's very small. They do have a seating area across the main one but it's just seating from what I could tell. No bar or food. The bar seemed nice and the bartender offered me a drink. I decided not to get one but it was nice that she was on top of it! The food selection was dire. But maybe they have a digital menu or something? Again, I didn't want to catch the old (lord knows I don't need any of that) from the unkind woman ... so maybe there is more that I didn't see? The best pro tip I can give anyone is this area is also on the same level of what is currently now a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. In between the restaurants and The Club there is an area that has comfortable seating and is actually super empty. I suggest you go to the 7/11 (same terminal) grab a nice cheap sandwich or something like that. Grab some drinks as well. Then bring them with you. If The Club is full or whatever, then have yourself a delightful picnic in one of the best kept secrets this airport has! That seating area! Anyway, if you have Amex platinum then skip this mess and go to the Centurion lounge. It's crowded as well, but it is loads better. You can find a seat, a drink, and some food. People seem nicer there as well. Likely because they travel more than an average person and therefore aren't haggard faced about letting someone have a seat! Life is full of delightful strangers who may end up being a friend you haven't met yet, try to be kind when someone needs a seat and probably a drink!

Pretty bad. First of all the layout. Who designed this? The registration area is like in den after you pass the outside relax zone. Oh those zones! They divided the club areas into 3 zones: relax zone, privacy and dining. And has a separate wifi for each. None of them has a steady connectivity. It's a pretty confusing layout if you want to come here for a quick bite or need to fresh up in a limited time. Not enough restrooms for it's size. Capacity is 45. But the layout makes it feel like it's crowded. The outside area is okay for wifi but it's too loud and hot there. The inside areas, you can neither have a decent wifi nor does it recognize my T mobile network. I had a strawberry splitzer and that is good. Food is okay considering Covid measures. Priority pass has this only lounge for a huge airport like DFW and that means you need to live with it especially if you are counting on doing some work at the lounge like I do.

Why do people complain about free? It's free with your priority pass and it's nice. There's chill areas and places you can people watch. There's also a bar lounge area and an area with no phones so you can rest and put your feet up and sleep. The service was super welcoming, the bartender was very nice. There was service attending to the food station. Overall it was relaxing and away from any crowds.

The check in was quick but the place is small and not enough seats. We were lucky to get seats as some people were leaving otherwise we would have to wait or leave to public seating area. The food was ok not much variety options. I would not recommend this place during peak hours!

No alcohol before 12 on Sundays. They have a decent selection, but I couldn't partake in the nectar of the gods there. The food selection was of limited variety, which included pre-made warmed egg and sausage burritos, cereals, parfait, fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, and different breakfast desserts. During COVID times it's not grab yourself, it's go up, wait in line and the food is provided to you by a server. The alcohol isn't serve yourself either, it's behind a bar.

I arrived a bit early in the morning and immediately noticed that the staffing seemed insufficient. Initially, there was no one available to let people into the area so me and a small group just stood around hoping someone would come out. After we got in, food options were very limited, which was quite disappointing. However, as the day progressed, more people began to arrive, which made it much more crowded and helped create a more enjoyable ambiance. It certainly wasn't a stellar experience but because I got in with the priority pass, it wasn't too bad either.

No restroom, service with no smile, loud patrons, not the most relaxing or enjoyable lounge I've ever experienced to say the least. At least it was beautifully designed and the annoying patrons eventually left. I'm not sure what was up with the guy working at the front of house but he wasn't what you'd call friendly or helpful. I placed my order and he brought it over to me, but that was the end of our interaction. Maybe it was an off day...the annoying loud patrons who were sitting behind me were drinking and frequenting the bar for beverages from the server, who they called on by name. He maintained his deadpan stares for all.

The second time we've attempted to use The Club. There was a 25 minute wait because it was at capacity.

I can only assume many of those visits were later in the day when the airport is significantly busier, because my experience was the complete opposite. I had a little under an hour in the lounge with a flight arriving at 7:25am and departing at 8:50am. There was no line to check in and we were granted immediate access. Located in Terminal D across from Gate D12, guests must present their AMEX card and boarding pass for entry. The cardholder receives complimentary access, while additional adult guests are $50 and children are $30 each. If you spend more than $75K annually on your AMEX card, you receive two complimentary guest passes. Personally, I do not think paid guest access is worth it for a short layover, but I can definitely see the value during a longer one. The lounge itself is quite large, though maybe not large enough for a busy airport like Dallas considering the number of reviews mentioning wait times. During my visit, however, while there were plenty of people, there were still a few spare seating options available. Their lounge had a good variety of booths, dining tables, lounge chairs, workspaces, and even small private office areas for calls or meetings. The entire space felt clean and organized. The food was continuously replenished and stayed fresh throughout my visit, though nothing was particularly spectacular. It reminded me a lot of the complimentary breakfast at a Hyatt or Hilton. Still, it was absolutely appreciated after an early flight on an empty stomach. I did enjoy that they offered healthier options including fresh fruit, fresh pressed juices, and wellness shots. I also noticed staff regularly cleaning tables between guests, and the bar area seemed popular with travelers enjoying complimentary morning cocktails. The bathrooms were clean, modern, and had full privacy doors with no awkward gaps, which is an upgrade from the typical airport bathrooms. Overall, I had a good experience and would absolutely return during future travels through DFW.

Then on the way back it opens at 5:30 but is not really functional until an hour later so other than some luke warm and frankly terrible coffee, a few pieces of and some stale pastries - it's not really full service until an hour later so fresh off a red eye - we left and went to Starbucks! There are seats, tables, and outlets + free wifi everywhere with the food and drinks in the middle. Out of all the food we got our favorites were the mac and cheese and short ribs. There was a full bar where they served their signature cocktails; we liked the blazing saddles and butter pecan old fashioned. There was also a worker carrying a cart of complimentary champagne and of course we took advantage of that too. Other amenities included a fitness room, relaxation room, showers, and luggage lockers. The lounge also had snacks and ready foods like sandwiches and wraps that people could take to go. The workers also gave us bags where we could hold these foods with us when we left. I never understood why in the world you'd want to book a suite just for a layover, like why?…read more WELL, here's why. Long layovers are only fun if you're lounge hopping or shopping around and walking around the airport. It's all fun and games until all you want to do is take a nice nap when it's well past the hours of the night and your flight is not until the next morning. It's too short of a layover to book a hotel room but also too long to be not curled up in a blanket in a private space to catch some zz's. Thanks to Priority Pass, we decided to give these guys a try and we're so happy we did. Me and my husband each had 1 hour for free so we were able to book 2 free hours of nap time! We split it up pretty evenly where we got our first couple of hours walking around the airport and moving our legs/working in our computers. And then, when it was about 2am, we went to our Minute Suite and spent 2 wonderful hours napping in quiet. What I loved about the experience is you get pillows and blankets and can really enjoy a dark, private and quiet space even with dimmable lights and white noise if you need. If you prefer to work or watch TV that's also available. Overall pretty awesome experience, the only thing is I think they were doing some work at the airport and you could hear everything so maybe having some kind of a sound proof would be awesome. The couch had a bit of a wear and tear but it's fine we just covered it up with extra blankets. All in all, amazing experience! If they provided sanitizing wipes to make you feel like it's super clean after the last guest this would be even better. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend and from now on, I'll be sure to book these especially during long overnight layovers.
