I conducted a Duck Duck Go search and I located Metro Clock Repair. The comments about the services provided by Tanja were consistent and true. She came by my home and provided long overdue timely maintenance to my treasured clock as well and took a smaller non-working clock back to her shop so that she could locate and install replacement mechanics. In my discussions with her I could see that she is dedicated to providing the special attention timepieces require. We shared a love for classical timepieces. The quality of service far exceeded the cost. I am so happy to have her as a resource for my timepieces. My husband Neal…read moreand I had just finished lunch and my center diamond literally fell out inside our car into my lap last weekend, so we raced over to LaViano Jewelers to get it repaired and into his good hands immediately. Jeff was extremely polite, welcoming and greeted us with a huge smile. He even showed us the ring under a microscope and said the prong head needed full replacement and confidently assured us that the ring would be ready in just (3) business days! He personally emailed with me and called me by 12 noon on the third business day and had it ready on his desk when we returned so he could personally chat with us when we came back yesterday. Since the ring was purchased [elsewhere] back in 2009, Jeff proactively offered to provide a brand new appraisal (based on our original GIA paperwork from the previous Jeweler) for insurance purposes. Thank goodness we did that, since it turns out it gained nearly $4K in value since it was originally purchased, which made us feel great! Now we can update our insurance paperwork properly this week, too! There is no wonder why LaViano Jewelers has been in business since 1945. We are both really pleased with the service we received - the engagement ring looks brand new and my husband is over-the-moon happy that we got it fixed so fast! Thank you for everything, Jeff! I explained that I had a 47 year old spring-driven pendulum schoolhouse wall clock that needed some tender loving care. I made an appointment to bring it in a week later. Dropping it off I explained the issues to Marc and waited for the call pick it up. I picked it up today and it is ticking just like it did when we first purchased it. Marc is an old school repairman who does great work at a reasonable price.

NY Clock repair was the 3rd shop I bought it too. It took a while for them to give me an estimate and the time table for the repair was 6 weeks. The other shops took longer and could not give me a time frame or an estimate. They did exactly what they said they would. With a 50 year old clock it's difficult to get the parts but they communicated well. I was pleased with the quality of the work and happy with the cost. I would highly recommend them.
