They took out the screens to clean (and replaced them when done) and even cleaned out the dirt in the drip trays below each window. Truly professionals and friendly people. I picked them as I saw them working on my neighbors house last fall and just in that moment I saw how well they worked together. I highly recommend them!! Ps... as a family business I also recommend your paying them NOT using a credit card so they don't have to pay the fees

A project is not "finished" when screens are dumped on a customer's front porch and one of the…read morelargest window screens frame included is missing. That is exactly what happened with this company. The owner claimed the project was complete, but that was not true. Several screens were simply left on our porch for us to sort out ourselves, with no explanation and no proper installation. One of the most important windows in our home is now missing the screen and frame entirely. There was also a duplicate payment issue that was not properly handled, forcing me to contact my credit card company to pursue the refund myself. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of accountability. Once these issues were raised, the owner stopped responding. No solution. No return of the missing screen and frame. No clear explanation. No ownership. This is not professional service. This is not a completed job. This is a business taking payment, leaving unfinished work behind, and then disappearing when asked to make it right. I would not trust this company with another project, and I would strongly caution others before hiring them.

He was comprehensive, very knowledgeable about home interiors (both floors and walls), and easy to talk to. He was thorough and provided us with a quote the same day. They were competitively priced with the other quotes we received AND they were able to get all of the work done in one day, within a week of the estimate. The project manager, Joe, and the crew, Mia, Judith, Mario, and Angel were all ahead of time the morning of the job, and they did a fantastic job. We were pretty nit picky on a few minor things that we caught in our final review of the job, and they quickly patched it up and cleaned up everything like they were never there. Our place looks brand new, and they didn't miss a single thing. We will definitely call Dave and the team at Contemporary Painting for any additional projects we may have in the future. Thanks for the spectacular service!

I was absolutely amazed at how precisely everything was coordinated and how the actual work was so well done. To really top it off, however, Ted (Owner) is so easy to work with and communicates everything so clearly and HONESTLY. If some changes are made during the project, he makes sure to credit you for even the littlest things, but, at the same time, he doesn't nickel and dime you. On that note, most contractors charge a percentage fee for change orders. Apple Remodeling DOES NOT charge a fee. You are just billed for the work/material. That is a huge plus, in my opinion, because throughout a project you are certainly going to think of things to change/add. That really helps keep the nerves at ease when you're going through such a massive project. Not only was Ted great, his crew was amazing as well. They are all so polite and considerate. I'd probably trust these guys to baby sit my kid. Further, they clean up at the end of every day. We've even had comments from friends/family on how clean the worksite is. These are exactly the type of people you want working on your house--people you can trust. Most of this review hasn't even focused on the quality of work done, which, by the way, is excellent; however, let's be honest, when you're basically having surgery done on your house, you want to be at ease through the ENTIRE project--not just at the end. Going into the remodel, I was not expecting it to go so smoothly--after all, it was a massive remodel. The potential for things to go wrong is there, but it was not the case with Apple Remodeling. I really think that Apple Remodeling is a gem in this business and a step above everyone else. You just don't get the level of service that Apple Remodeling provides from just about any business these days and that is why I am so happy that we found them.
