I explained the situation - the comforter was still wet and badly stained, including stains from a previous lifetime - and requested that it be dry cleaned and the duvet be laundered and pressed. The cost came to just under $100. When I picked up the items yesterday I was thrilled beyond words. The comforter was folded and packed into the same type of carrying bag it came in years ago (great for summer storage) and the duvet was pressed and hanging over a heavy-duty hanger. Not a hint of the stains anywhere, both exactly as fresh-looking as new. I just finished the 20-minute ordeal of replacing the comforter into the duvet - well worth the effort and out-of-pocket to have everything beautiful as new. Thank you, Dependable. One employee walked around and wiped down the tops of the washers where people dripped the soap. They have all sizes of washers available. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lizzie twice and Katie once and while they are all business given the high volume of laundry they process, they also recognize the importance of customer service. The final product is spectacularly folded and placed in a clear plastic bag so you can see and find all your clothes easily. It also has a nice clean scent to it.
