It's always nice to work with a company that treats you respectfully, is responsive, and shows up on time, but if you don't get what you pay for, what good are all those things? We hired The Cleaning Authority to come clean our new home prior to moving in. They were very responsive and even came out to the house to give us an accurate cost of what the service would cost. We agreed on a scope (2 people for 2 hours) and cost ($200), and they came out on time. Unfortunately, I literally had to redo the entire job myself. The floors were left visibly dirty. Cabinets still had sawdust in them (they were empty so it couldn't have been something they missed). The fans had not been touched. I give them two stars because of their great customer-facing interactions, but they did not do the job they said they would do. I would not hire them again. read more

My husband hired the cleaning authority while I was pregnant to help. I was unimpressed since the very beginning. The first two cleanings were suppose to be "deep cleanings" I complained and called asking what's suppose to be deep. They told me base boards were wiped in the kitchen. Another time I had to tell them to wipe down a side table and window seal in the nursery when they suppose finished in that room. They never wiped down a mirror or made beds. I asked why they didn't make the bed they said because I don't pay for that extra service. Anything I would ask about they always replied with do you pay for this service. I never thought I was asking for anything extreme. They wouldn't clean behind things or in between. I also didn't like that it was someone different every time I have a new born and I rather know who's coming every time. I don't recommend at all. Canceled the services and I found someone soo much better. read more

Giving this business a two stars not because the cleaning ladies were bad, but because the owner was incompetent. If I had the phone numbers for the cleaning ladies I would hire them alone. They were very professional and generous. The owner switched our appointments EVERY time they were scheduled, as if we do not have things to do ourselves. Yes, we could leave our keys with them and allow them to clean while we were away, but I have dogs that get nervous and require us to be around with strangers. Nonetheless, every time he changed our appointment time the cleaning crew was either 45 mins late or early an hour. This may have been okay if we got a courtesy call/ text. When I called to complain, the owner did not apologize, but instead said we will no longer be doing business with you. Good riddance. read more

I sold my house in July I hired this company to clean my 3,500 sf home and the manager came to my house and told me he was going to send a crew of 2 or more people to clean. we specifically asked him to clean bathrooms and kitchen. he charged me an amount, which i thought was kind of expensive but figuring it was 2 or more people I said ok. The day of clean, he sent me one girl who was unprepared and all of her products were from the dollar store.( his ad says they care about the earth.) The girl who was working did what she could have, at the end she couldn't finish and left the kitchen untouched I paid for 2 and I got a terrible job read more

2 no shows and no calls. The second no show was after we changed our schedules around to accommodate a new slot suggested by them due to the 1st no show no call. The last no show no call came after a No show at 9am. We called at 10am and was told someone would be there by 11am. It is now 11:40, still no show. We are now cancelling. We understand things happen but the lack of calls showed a true lack of professionalism. They are simply unreliable. read more

I recently hired The Cleaning Authority to clean my home, and I am extremely disappointed with their service. They failed to wipe down tables, dressers, and other essential furniture, which is basic for any cleaning crew. Additionally, they didn't sweep or mop the upstairs bedrooms, leaving dirt and dust behind. I sent photos and videos as proof of the poor job they did, but management did nothing to make amends. I even suggested a partial refund, although I believe a full refund is warranted given the lack of service, but they ignored my request. This company has wasted my time and money, and I do not recommend their services to anyone. Highly disappointed. read more
