I was starting to give up on cleaning services until now. Essential Cleaners sent over Lorena yesterday to do a deep cleaning (as my husband and I travel for business and are super busy). Previous cleaners we hired we were always in a rush, or had to go somewhere else and it showed in their work. They would miss out on important details that I specifically asked to be clean. Lorena spent almost 8 hours deep cleaning and organizing our ENTIRE home. I can't even begin to tell you how satisfied my husband and I were when we came home. She even organized under our bathroom sinks. Spots in the tiles that we tried to scrub and scrub just weren't turning white, but of course Lorena came through and had our shower tiles sparkling WHITE!. It was the little things that caught our eye as well. Cleaning corners that weren't even noticeable, little hidden areas due to all of our clutter. We haven't had a good night's rest for a long time. I liked this company because I received a prompt reply to arrange the cleaning. We visited a friend and wanted to help him get his place cleaned. We discussed upfront via email. The arrival time was a little later than promised but it still worked with our timing for our next appointment. The cleaner was pleasant and worked diligently. There were a few spots that I had to have her visit which she did willingly. She was very pleasant. She didn't speak English but with my little bit of Spanish, we communicated just fine. I think the price was fair for a first cleaning with them and would expect that future cleaning would be less e.g. biweekly. The owner also checked mid way to see how the service was going. We had previously hired a couple of other companies, but the job was not well done. Essential Cleaners was quick to respond for a quote and I booked the earliest possible date. We were assigned Hilda, who did an incredible job cleaning the home. My grandma was so pleased with the job she said it was the best cleaning Jon she had ever seen... and I promise you, she is extremely picky. So, if it passes the gest with my grandma I'm sure it'll pass any test! The person assigned to clean can either use your equipment and products or they bring their own. It depends what you choose and what materials you have. Pricing was comparable to all the other companies and freelancers I had previously booked. However, the cleaning job was bar none. I am absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism and disrespect shown by Essential Cleaners. After a mediocre deep cleaning before Christmas, I decided to give them another chance and hired them for a bi-weekly dusting job. However, their incompetence and disregard for their clients has left me completely disappointed. Firstly, they rescheduled the first appointment that was supposed to be on December 28. Despite reluctantly agreeing to the change, they couldn't even stick to the new appointment time of 10AM. Instead, they pushed it back to 12:30-1PM and promised to inform me when they were on their way. Yet, at 1:20, when no one had shown up or bothered to contact me, I had to call them myself. And what did I get? A rude and unprofessional response from the woman on the phone, who even had the audacity to tell me to "shut up". When I mentioned writing a review about my experience, she had the nerve to scream at me and accuse me of threatening her. Not only did they completely disrespect my time and schedule, but they also failed to deliver on their promise of communication. And to top it all off, the attitude and behavior of the woman on the phone was despicable. It's a shame because the two cleaners who did come for the deep cleaning were pleasant, despite not doing a satisfactory job. Do not waste your time and money with Essential Cleaners unless you are prepared to be treated like dirt by their unprofessional and rude staff. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and I urge others to steer clear of this company. Consider yourselves warned. After this review This woman is dangerous! she is sending me a barrage of texts, apparently she recorded a conversation without my knowledge even if it only proves that i am right. Be careful people. I had to block her number. This is costumer service at its worst. I'll give you guys one star, we had an appointment at 9 am and we waited there until 9:30 am but nobody showed up because that person had problems with their car, we rescheduled for 1:30 pm on the same day and we waited another 45 min but nobody told me anything until I had to ask about it, if they were coming or not and they said they ran late in the morning job. I'm sorry guys but you should send someone immediately or just be honest and say you can make it work or not not and not make me waste my time and money on gas, etc. When you said something I would value your words, I'm serious that's what I'm expecting back. And the $20 dollars that you guys sent for your apology, sorry but that doesn't pay the time that I wasted waiting and the inconvenience that you guys caused. Essential cleaners did awesome job for deep cleaning. Everywhere is wiped and mopped - perfectly cleaned. Not to mention they also organized my item (including cat toys) and made everything look super tidy. They even offered to wash dishes and change beddings for me. Really sweet ladies.
