They can get your entire team set up with all the gear they need. My husband was in there all the time in the 80's and 90's for everything from baseball, basketball and cross country running. Back then, it was a place where they knew your name when you walked in the door. Best part is that you can hold the product. Feel if your mitt fits just right or if you need a different pair of cleats. You can't do that online. For the sport enthusiast, it's so much better to pick your needs out in person. I have 4 girls all taking classes at LaRae's ranging in age from 9-17. None of my girls have ever…read morecome home crying and in fact one night at dinner we were discussing dance and one of my girls said, "I love LaRae," and the three others all said "Me too." She does correct the students and she very much teaches technique which helps them improve. On a soccer/basketball/football team the coaches correct the players so why can't a dance teacher? For students to progress they need correction. Once again, none of my girls have ever cried and they look forward to dance each week. They come home and show me what they have learned. I recommend her if you want your child to learn the technique of classic dance.

Eventually, your girl will get a tough skin, but why would you want your eight year old to cry during each class till she is used to it. Her website claims, "The school demands the best of each student, expecting that each student work to his or her highest potential. In return, the school gives the care and attention each student deserves." The demand part is true, maybe a little too high for an 8 year old that is just learning, but the care and attention portion is 100% false. The website brags about many girls going on to do auditions to amazing schools but the only one mentioned on the website by name is the owner. Which makes me wonder if it is one child that did all these amazing things or has a really been many girls doing these amazing things. And is it their natural talent, or is LaRae's horrible attitude and demands to " fix it !" really helping these girls?

I'm very disappointed with this soccer venue. I previously gave a great review for this business 3…read moreyears ago, but it's really gone downhill. They have players that work there and say allow them to referee their own team. This is happened several times to us. We have beat the team anyway, but it was an uphill battle because the referee tries to help their own team, its not a fair or safe situation. The referee's own team also was very aggressive with elbows and tripping and grabbing our jerseys and ripping them off almost completely. It's really obvious the fouls that go on but their referees don't call anything because it's their own team. I've seen other teams get unhurried, and someone on our team as well. Our players play for their high school m, and some are college level So this isn't about that we can't hang with higher level play because we can. This is about the cheating that goes on with at least 2 of the referees that they employ. It's an N state situation and it's easily remedied by just making sure that the referees that refs the games do not have a conflict of interest for that game. We've also played at some other menus and one that's nearby is the 12th street venue in Ogden. Think will be registering their from now on because this just isn't worth playing there even though we are winning and we're been the number one team for several sessions. It's just not that fun anymore and it's not worth getting hurt over when you know you're not getting protected and get in Sarah calls by the referee. We have even seen fights that brake out because they can't control the game.

They have several levels of play and two fields - a large field and a smaller field for younger players. They have children's leagues up through adults. They also do co-ed leagues and high school leagues (for high school soccer teams). They also have Dodge ball leagues for adults that's pretty popular and fun! The staff is mostly nice and helpful. The parking is not great, but the fields are decent and the prices are fair. Sometimes the staff is more concerned with chatting with each other and they don't always see when someone needs help, but it's not a huge issue. Most of the time they are helpful. Also, there's another indoor soccer location not far from here that has a little better field and better leagues for more advanced play (my reasons for 4 stars instead of 5), but overall this is a pretty good place if you want to play indoor soccer.
