great facility with friendly staff. i was only visiting so i used this as my gym for the time i stayed. it was only $5.50 for a day pass. they have basketball courts, weight room, a track, treadmills, spin classes, etc. pretty much a full gym with everything you need. read more

The facility is clean & the equipment is nice. They have a pool, weight room, group fitness, racquetball, pickleball & basketball courts. $5 drop in fee for anyone. We were so happy to find a pool that was open! I had my mom and brother come two hours up to help me move some things and then we were all dying for a dip. After a lot of unsuccessful calls to many other marine facilities, Smithfield was open and ready for us! We headed right over and had a nice time :) read more

Feels a bit old and tired, plus school hours interfere with gym and weight room use. Group fitness classes and circuit training are cool, but not really my thing. They also have racquetball and plenty of modern cardio equipment. Admission and membership rates are average. Considering I didn't go to school here, the place feels like a small maze with narrow halls going in all directions. But it's a decent place to get or stay fit. Still, I'll stick with the adjacent indoor pool instead. read more

If you ever care to work out between 8 and 2:30 this is not your place. After two years as a consistent 5-day/week customer, suddenly my presence in the weight room was a "threat" and I had to give up a gym I enjoyed and a schedule I had built my life around, so that a couple of teenagers, who don't give a shit, can get their free credit. The high school Students come first here. Even at night, they try to kick you out of the men's locker room, because they stuff opposing school sports teams in there. read more

This place sucks. Paid to get in with my kids and they kicked us out from racket ball because some other guys showed up who wanted it. There was nobody on the list who had reserved it but they insisted we leave. Crappiest place in the Valley. read more
