That is to say if you want a dedicated, intelligent, highly experienced broker with deep integrity and a super kind heart. I first met Hillary about 7 years ago, just a month after my mom had passed. My mom had left me her two family home in the Wollaston section of Quincy. I live in NYC, and everyone & anyone around me at the time strongly advised that I sell the house. When I met with Hillary during this time period, I had expected her to advise the same. From my previous experience in the real estate business, I'm aware that a sale is a lucrative and desire commodity; certainly over the rental market. Much to my surprise, Hillary suggested that I keep the property as an investment, and rent out the two units. I intuitively trusted her expertise; and most importantly, her humanity (not necessarily a common trait in business). I took her advice, and in just over six years, my house DOUBLED in value. When I was recently ready to sell, Hillary was (& is) the only agent in the business that I would consider working with. Unsurprisingly, Hillary brokered an accepted offer in less than two weeks, for TOP market value; and we closed in less than one month. Due primarily to Hillary's diligence, determination to make a deal advantageous for both parties, and her warm & gracious style.; the entire deal went smoothly from the first day to the closing. My only regret is that I don't own a another home in Boston, just for the fun and ease of working with Hillary all over again-:) Additionally, ALL of folks that Hillary collaborates with to make a selling a home successful transaction (including lawyers, contractors, etc) are reliable, dependable, and honest. It's still a nice place to live…read more The pet policy has become more relaxed in order to allow more people to have dogs- not everyone is happy about this (but I'm not one of those people). It however is not an ideal place to own a dog- not having any fenced in area to allow a dog off the leash or to socialize with its neighbors. You walk your dog on the outskirts of the property which is nearly impossible in the snow. Some neighbors have unrealistic expectations and complain about silly things that come with condo living. Lots of pots calling kettles black! They've done a nice job keeping up the pool which is open just for the summer. The gym is supposed to be getting redone soon whereas it is in horrible condition. People like to gossip but if you're like me and keep to yourself you won't care.

Avoid this realtor. We live in a 28 home neighborhood where they lied and kept information about…read morethe development. They worked with the builder to sell these homes and it turns out they were just as deceitful as the builder (Bob Meisterman) whom lied and cut corners. I would never recommend this realty company in a million years after the type of people they partner with. To state an example, we live on a private way which was never disclosed to any of the other 7 buyers on these roads (we are now responsible for all work on this road: plowing, maintenance, etc). Look else where if buying or selling a home.

She went above and beyond for us and since we first time home buyers with a LOT of conditionals, so we put her to work. Every house she showed us was considerate of our checklist, but she also helped us get out of our comfort zone on expanding our preferences. I pretty much considered her a friend at the end of this, but with obvious boundaries. Realtors end up knowing a lot about you in the end and it was really reassuing that I felt comfortable with her! Besides just Jamie, the firm itself has great third party recommendations for every step of the way. We used everyone that they recommended and we had a really smooth process. Highly recommend! We also had friends who used her as well, at least 2, and they were beyond happy.
