I had a really good time here. At first, I was pretty miserable because I prefer to hear hip-hop, top 40, and r&b when I go to clubs and the DJ played straight techno for the majority of the night. It wasn't until the end (last 2 or 3 hours) that the Dj started playing hip hop hits. The club is huge!! Like stadium huge. And that is how the set-up is. The crowd is diverse and with the drinks, its easy to get turnt up. We purchased a package that got us unlimited drinks and admission. They pass out neon flashing accessories for purchase throughout the night ($10) and occasionally blow smoke/fog and balloon/confetti droppings. There was a random ass "fire show" with a guy who calls himself the devil worshiper or some crap like that and performed for about 10-15 minutes in the middle of the night. Idk if that was the intermission or what lol. Nonetheless, it was interesting, creepy, and unnecessary. I had a good enough time that I would come back here when I come back to Cancun. I had a blast overall.

This club is huge and was the best club we visited on our trip. The place can get packed, we went on stage and by the end of the night people were falling off the edge left and right. Pretty crazy, but the DJ played a great mix of music from EDM, Rap, Trap, and Top 40. Fun place, opened to 5am.

I purchased "The Madness tour" through the Mandala website which allowed me to sample 4 clubs: The Vaquita, Mandala, Dady'O, and The City. Of the 4 venues, The City was my favorite! The place was shaped like a stadium and was packed with people. The music was a mix of Top 40, Hip-Hop, Old School, and EDM. The stage in the center was rectangular. I enjoyed standing at the top tier, looking down at everyone and everything. I went on a Friday, which was really happening! It was Vegas-style all the way-noisy, crowded, and crazy! I loved it!

We got a table on the main floor. The service wasn't that great but the drinks and the music were.

Worst club in Cancun. Overcrowded and served cheap liquor even if you get bottle service. Tables do not have any chairs.

While I do wish they played a tad more reggaeton, they do classify as being a "top 40" club and the DJ lived up to that by playing a perfect blend of 120+ BPM pop, EDM, hip hop and Latin music. We got there about 10:40 and I guess they still hadn't open yet so Diego walked us straight into La Vaquita to get us a drink while we waited. Once Dady'O opened he walked us directly inside and hooked us up with a table! This wasn't included in our basic open bar tickets, but we weren't complaining! It was definitely nice to have and kept my wife comfortable throughout the night. Enrique was our bartender and while he did hit me up as we were leaving for yet another tip, he was great throughout the entire night and kept bringing us our drinks and rounds of shots for us and the tables next to us! Yes, there was a guy (don't believe an actual club employee though) who would ask as you left if you "needed anything", but thankfully I never had to talk to him as he was always busy when I walked by... but kids, just say no to drugs and you'll be alright! We're definitely coming back to do it again... however, I would bring a little extra cash since these guys really do take care of you when you take care of them.

Didn't wait on any lines. Didn't have to go to the crowded bar. Was able to dance by our table and on the crowded dance floor. Staff all super nice & kept the drinks flowing. Music was basic AF (perfect). I'm still drunk writing this review and it's 9AM the next morning. You walk in and it feels like a cave. It's darkly lit. There are small tables surrounded a tiered dance floor. It started to get really crowded around 11:30 PM. I highly recommend for a girls night- such fun, dance-y music AND clean bathrooms w no lines (score?!? where all the girls at in Cancun?!). Do yourself a favor, though, and get some sort of deal otherwise you'll be waiting in line forevz.

Outrageous lighting, falling balloons, super loud music, buckets of beers, cheap alcoholic drinks, loud MC yelling, and dancing girls on small stages rounds out the Congo Bar. You will also have the typical opportunity to buy jello shots, roses, and photographs of you and yours; pretty standard at these types of places in Mexico. The Congo Bar is a fun place, and almost every crowd I have seen there has been friendly. Everyone just wants to have fun. On only one occasion did I see a drunk out of control, and the security quickly dealt with it. Speaking of security, the bouncers are very good keeping an eye on who's coming in and going out. They seem to do a good job searching folks on the way in and making sure people don't get too out of control. One of the officers, Alexander, is awesome. He always greets us and hangs out nearby while we visit. We don't stay very long, but it's still a fun place to visit.

Had so many drinks spilled on me. The floor was literally black with mud, dirt, and drinks, they had people coming around to mop the floors. It was insane. We spent an hour just trying to get drinks at the bar and they were not even strong. The music was ok. Mostly hip hop. It finally got less crowded at 2am but the place closed at 3am and it was a very rough place. Absolutely zero room to move and dance. One of the worst club experiences. Only good thing is it's open air so it didn't get too stuffy or hot.
