Creative space! Fun to be at a dessert place in a house. They were a tad slow but it was a busy night. But man, the pizookie was INSANE good. One of the best I've ever had. You won't regret it

    Pizookie - yes please!

Oh my pizookie!!! The best!! We got two to share, one was half chocolate chip/half peanut butter, and the other was half Cadbury/half white chocolate. So freaking delicious, however, they forgot we ordered Cadbury, and made it with half chocolate chip, but still amazing! I think our favorite was the white chocolate and chocolate chip! They give you the perfect amount of ice cream for every bite! We also got the oatmeal cream cookie, to die for, the mint brownie, chewy and delicious, the salted caramel cookie, yummy, and the 7 layer bar with coconut and Graham cracker crust, this was the only thing we didn't love, it basically fell apart when you bit into it. It's a bit of a wait, but Highly recommend the pizookie and I'll be back for more!

Unfortunately our visit on Friday wasn't the best! The cake was dry and the ice cream scoop was super small. It was $20 as well which seemed overpriced for the portion size.

Every once in a while it's 10:00 at night and I just need something chocolatey. Ya know? The chocolate is open late which is so helpful for cravings like these! I went in around 9:30 and there weren't a lot of options left, which makes total sense. The service was very nice and helpful and I got a peanut butter brownie and a slice of Oreo chocolate cake. When I got the brownie home I realized it had definitely been sitting out all day. Maybe longer? It was so hard and stale! We microwaved it to help but honestly it didn't. No stars for the brownie! The Oreo cake though, that was delicious! The cake was moist, the frosting was lovely and rich, and the chocolate ganache and Oreo pieces were a great touch. Just what I was hoping for! This is a fun spot to hang out with friends day or night. Very cute and vintage!

This place is fine and has a lot of dessert options. It is a bit over priced. For the price, I thought the cake would be amazing, it was just so so. It was good, but not as good as I thought. It also wasn't as moist as I thought it would be. I would still come back, they have a bunch of other desserts that are good.

They now have a NEW and IMPROVED hot chocolate!!! They're first one was water based made with a store-bought cocoa mix. This one is made with steamed milk and high quality chocolate melted and mixed with good cocoa power. It is thicker and richer and better than ever! It's worthy of being one of the best in the state now. IMO.

I've had the chocolate in West Jordan but I think this location is even better! Chocolate cake was moist, massive and delicious! Snowflake cookies were a huge hit with the kids. Tasted like they had a a little lemon in the icing. The Cazookie is always a hit! Tasted like a fresh homemade cookie!

Updating my review to say this place is still awesome. I appreciate that they have classic favorites (Snickerdoodle, Mint Brownies, PB Cookies) but also creative ones as well (Salted Caramel Pretzel Cookie and Turtle Cookie stood out to me). Both the Snickerdoodle and Whoopie were A+ and their cazookie is also a long time fav.

I'm a HUGE FAN of The Chocolate. I initially fell in love with them for their cazookies .... I mean, a personal Pan cookie served hot with ice cream on top? WHOA. Recently I've branched out to their cookies, bars, and cakes and I am HOOKED!! Their cake flavors rotate weekly and you know I always know the flavor of the week! So far, the almond poppyseed and fresh Peach are my favorites!! I might've gone a little crazy for my birthday. I mean - 4 cakes was totally necessary. Right??

"The Husband" yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Reminds me of the home baked cakes as a kid! Absolutely delicious!

Most of the donuts there were filled donuts and I'm not a huge fan of filled donuts because most of the time the combination of the donut and the filling does make you feel sick after eating one. But I heard the check out lady talking about how they made the cream for the donut I tried and I knew it was the one for me! I do wish they had options like a plain chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. But this is more of a gourmet shop than your local, average donut shop, so I understand why they don't. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because the checkout lady was a bit scatter brained and didn't ask me if I wanted a receipt. When I asked for one she got even more flustered and couldn't figure out how to give me one and basically said oh well - you just can't have one. I wanted the receipt so I could turn it in to google surveys which pays me money for taking surveys and uploading my receipts. So I was kind of irritated.

The food: Eh my wife got the brownie Sunday, I'll discuss my order in a minute. The brownie sundae was no big deal mid at best. The only thing that stood out about it was the price. I didn't perceive a lot of value at 9.95. I understand margins and maybe this is what it has to be but the product provided did not reflect the price paid. My order was non existent because I wanted a vanilla malt. Malt mix is cheap, I'm probably not the only person who likes a malt. That's a sale lost because I didn't buy anything for myself. That alone is concerning and raises serious questions about legality and food safety. This is Combo B: half a chicken "for two" with fries and rice. Total cost: $27. What I received was half a chicken, a handful of fries, and a small portion of rice. The portion size does not match the price at all. You see on the menu that they have a 1/4 chicken for $6.99 well it's just that it doesn't come with fries so to me it seems the half a chicken for 2 people made more sense bc that combo comes with fries well a hand full of fries not enough not even for one person and on top of it they were frozen not even real potatoes. The chicken tasted identical to a $5 Costco rotisserie chicken with seasoning added and reheated. Nothing fresh, nothing special, nothing that justifies the price. The sodas were served hot. Not room temperature hot. Completely unacceptable for takeout. I'm Latina and very familiar with this type of food. This is not authentic, not premium, and not worth the cost. You are far better off buying the $5 Costco chicken, and that's saying a lot. To the owner: I'll say this in the best kindest way possible; this is Utah, not California pricing. They have soft dough based cones (almost like a horn shape) that are fresh baked and rolled in cinnamon. They have limited time special selections of tlother flavors too (like golden Oreo - I was so tempted on that but wanted to try th OG). The you select a different soft serve flavor, vanilla, chocolate, swirl or a lilited time flavor. Honestly they could have 2 or 3 more options of soft serve - 3 isn't a lot. Then you select a swirl in the cone like Nutella, cookie butter or peanut butter and 1-4 toppings and a drizzle. They carefully fill your cone with the swirl and a little topping on the bottom, fill half the cone with soft serve and top it, then do the top and add toppings and drizzle it. The soft serve was good but unremarkable. The topping were good but again, just average froyo stuff . I though it was good, but then I got to the cone! That's the star of the show. The cone was delicious. I wish it was bigger and maybe even less ice cream. It's worth trying, it's fun and different. They had fruit filled cones and seems like they change things up frequently. The location is clean, large and sleek feeling. Definitely a good spot for a fun outing.
