Nice ice cream and candy store in the sonoma village. All the ice cream is homemade and delicious. They also have some good fudge and basically any candy you could think of. Service was rather fast. Place is small but quant, reminds me of an old school candy spot.

I liked that it did not feel like a chain and the gelato was tasty. Service staff allowed you to take many samples. The chocolate was freshly made in fact you could see it in the molds. It had a fun atmosphere and was a nice place to visit while in Sonoma.

Very friendly employees who were very knowledgeable. The ambiance is a bit overwhelming for us neurodivergent folks. There are just so many things to look at! Of all kinds. On top of that they make their own fudge. And they serve coffee and ice cream. The ice cream is sourced from local creameries and was very good. I ended up ordering an affagottò which was fabulous but the entire reason for our trip to Sonoma was to locate the most amazing cup of hot cocoa and sadly this is the area that fell short. The cocoa just needed a bit more cocoa and it could have been amazing. 7/10 recommend. Will be back to check out their retro candy offerings.

Today, happen to be a Hot Summer day. I felt like getting some Ice Cream today. Tonight, I'm in Napa again. I'm in the heart of Sonoma to get some Ice Cream at The Chocolate Cow. I like the name, it's catchy. And I really like the theme here, it's intriguing. This is located in The Mercato Plaza. It feels good to be back in Wine Country. I had to get the Cosmopolitan Sundae with Rocky Road, Cookies & Cream, Caramel flavor, Chocolate syrup, and Strawberry sauce. It looks so good, and was so awesome. I give this 4.1 stars. It's also another very solid 4.1 stars.

The chocolate cow was the only place open around the area where we were at that time! They serve ice cream, chocolate, and Knick knacks, candies for kids and grown-ups! They also sell t-shirts as souvenirs! The service was excellent! We got what we needed right away! They have seating outside for a great chat and enjoy your ice cream! I recommend!

Walking around the plaza area, we came across Choc Cow and went in for ice cream. They serve Double Rainbow and Straus brands. Hubby had a small cup of Dutch chocolate and I tried a med cup of vanilla bean, $13 for both. The vanilla was OK but not enough vanilla bean flavor. The store also sells chocolates but we didn't try. There are seats outside where you can sit to enjoy the desserts.

9 hand picked Truffles and pecan clusters of my choice! Yum!!

Went to downtown Sonoma and found The Chocolate Cow. I was warmly welcomed with my dog in tow, pleasantly surprised by everything yummy. The milk chocolate truffles, espresso, pecan clusters and so many more delicious flavors! Had to get a scoop of German chocolate ice cream that was to die for! Very clean and the line moved quickly. Cute wrapping on the box as well!

Cute little place. They have ice cream, shave ice and lots of nostalgic candy. The shave ice was great. It was finely grated and the syrup was sweet and flavorful. Nice outdoor seating in satiny strip mall. Looks like it's family owned so it's a nice to support them. Will come back when I'm back in town since it's so hard to find good shave ice

Cute shop in cute shopping area. My kid got cookies & cream. Trying to get over a sore throat so avoiding dairy to not produce more phlegm. Guava & raspberry was nice sweet treat on a warm late morning summer day. Person at register was knowledgeable about what did not have dairy.

Our favorite Icecream place that's open earlier in Sonoma! definitely worth it and

Great place with wonderful people and yummy icecream! Go there before doing a huge line at the place on the main plaza street

As I was heading back to the square (where there is an abundance of restaurants), I didn't want the busyness of the scene; thankfully, I got on Instagram, typed "good eats in Sonoma", and BAM! Salumeria Ovello popped up on my feed, and thank goodness it did! An easy 4-minute walk from Vallejo House, Salumeria Ovello is owned by Andrea, who is a Michelin-star chef from the area of Piedmont, Italy. Having been to Italy twice this past year alone, I remember quite well the quality and taste of the classed Italian Sandwiches. The worker who served at the counter was very helpful, and within the restaurant --- there are just a few seats. I'd say, 3 tables with two seats at each table. For my food, I decided to order the Massimo --- which is on "sliced Focaccia, and has sun dried tomatoes, stracciatella di burrata, prosciutto cotto, basil pesto and crumbled taralli (crackers)". Each sandwich is made fresh-to-order, and you can taste the quality. Each ingredient worked together in harmony, and to satisfy the americani in me, I definitely enjoyed the taralli in the sandwich --- reminded me of putting chips in my sandwiches in school. While I waited, Andrea also brought out some slices of salami for me to try --- free of charge, which was very kind of him to do. All in all, if you want to get away from the busyness of the Mission Square, take a 4-minute walk to Salumeria Ovello, and you'll find a little piece of Italy in Sonoma! Ciao tutti!

It harkens to an old timey general store but with modern vibes and artisan curated pieces at down to earth prices. Seriously, the majority of prices match to that bullseye retail shop. One side is a general store with kitchen items, greeting cards, soaps, candles, snacks. jewelry, and women's accessories. The other side sells living room items... furniture, throws, pillows, home decor, small art pieces, and reproduction artwork. Oh I can't forget to tell you about the outdoor art sculptures which are displayed in the back yard. The sculptures are whimsical and artsy. They carry sofas and living room pieces. The furniture is of quality and comes with prices matching that quality. I enjoy shopping for the framed reproduction paintings and home decor. The price points range from $30 and upwards for the paintings.
