Caveat emptor.... we had the Hearth Guys come out to check our installation…read more The Hearth Guys had to correct several deficiencies which were potential safety risks. They had to extend stove pipe away from the roof, reapply silicon to stove pipe which had not been property cleaned with acetone and then sealed properly, cut additional wood from the roof away from the stove pipe. The Hearth guys will also have to return to install a damper, which was not included. We paid up front; and after that the quality of service took a nose dive.
