Then recommended we wait until weather cools down, so we wouldn't be without A/C during the 5 hour install. Ed and his crew showed up on time, did a good job. Our experience with C & M electric is likely one of the best we have had while working on our home…read more Charles is not only knowledgeable -- he is a very likeable guy! The process was seamless: we met and went over our checklist and he sent us a quote the next day as promised. He began work immediately. We met again, went over a punch list, and completed. All of this within a couple weeks time. Never had working with a contractor been so easy. Even weeks later, when we finally started moving items in we noticed a non-working plug. Charles came over immediately and fixed it -- even with already having collected all the money on the job. This is the honesty we all look for! Thanks again for a job well done!

We needed to get two new LED light fixtures, replaced in our kitchen. After a no show, no call or explanation, I decided to call another electrician, they called back and told me when they would be able to help us about two weeks out. We got the job done ourselves after watching YouTube several times, I told my husband we could do this ourselves. Happy to say, we learned a new skill and got our lights installed in the kitchen.

I was disappointed with my experience…read more I paid an additional $40 for a lift gate to be installed on my fence, but it was never installed. Matt told me he would come back to complete the work, but despite multiple text messages from my husband and me, as well as an email regarding an invoice discrepancy ($500 listed instead of the $540 I paid), the issue was never resolved. There were also other problems with the work. Tile around my bathtub was removed to inspect a faucet and was never put back, and one of the fence pickets that was repaired has already fallen off. Before leaving this review, I contacted the business through Yelp to give them one final opportunity to address these issues. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-through and communication. I simply wanted the work I paid for to be completed or the $40 refunded, but neither happened. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I've already had him adjust or repair smaller items since my initial job of having the sludge removed from the A/C lines. He also made a suggestion to install a device (Iflo) on my a/c units that monitors the lines so that they will not ever get clogged again (automated A/C drain line cleaner). Since that initial job, he's drained both of my water heaters and fixed odd items regarding the kitchen sink and my master shower. I love supporting small businesses.
