I ordered my dress on their layaway program. I had to pay extra for a $15 gown bag when my dress was already 1000+ (not their fault but should be included considering the price) and got three color swatches and a tote bag. They didn't educate me that when I want to make a payment on my dress that I have only two options, 1.) pay in store or 2.) pay over the phone with manager assistance. I live about 2 hours away so the phone is clearly the best option. I have a diamond membership and when I would call about my dress they would say they couldn't find the order at first then go through some things to see it. I would have to call multiple times or would be disconnected after being on hold and have to call back. They also didn't educate me that I would have to pay additionally if I wanted the dress shipped to my home and I could've just ordered the dress online directly and skipped ordering at the store. My dress arrives at the Tallahassee location and I needed to get it shipped to Panama City. I paid to have it shipped to Panama City. My dress arrived not in the gown bag I paid for. The bag was missing from the order, I had to call for them to find the order on their system then for them to say they would ship it out to me. I will say if you're planning a wedding and in a time crunch, this wouldn't be the place to shop. They are very sweet but disorganized which causes unnecessary stress to a bride. If my wedding was closer than six months away I would've been livid at the amount of fumbles they did while taking care of my order.

Great deal! Plus, they had drawings for gift cards every 15 minutes. No, I didn't win anything, which is weird because I'm usually pretty lucky. Ah well. I was surprised by JCPenney's selection of stylish clothing because the store itself is so old. There was a line for the fitting rooms and some of the interior decor seems outdated. I can't remember the last time I bought clothes there, if ever. I think it is wonderful that JCPenney provided this opportunity for FSU students. It was a great idea because now I know they have some cute, professional clothing and I will likely return to buy more.

I never would have guessed that something as simple as properly supporting my feet could make such an incredible difference. Since getting my inserts from Grace at the Good Feet Store, my foot pain is completely gone. It has honestly been amazing. My runs feel better, my workouts at the gym are more comfortable, and even just walking throughout the day is easier. Grace took the time to listen, explain everything, and make sure my inserts were the right fit. She made the entire experience comfortable and educational, and I never felt rushed. And one more thing...the socks!! You absolutely have to get the socks! They are unbelievably comfortable and worth every penny. If you've been dealing with foot, hip, knee, or back discomfort--or even if you just spend a lot of time on your feet--I can't recommend the Good Feet Store enough. I only wish I had gone sooner!

Danny and I smiled, spoke, and began looking around in the men's area, to allow them more privacy. As we entered, she sighed and said, "There's only one of me.". We continued to look around. Then another set of guests entered. The first customer said, "I started a trend." We all laughed, thinking this was great for the store clerk's numbers for the day. The store employee however, said, "Yeah, and we close at 5:00," in an exasperated tone and with hand motions. I looked at my watch. It was 4:10 pm. Then she looked at me and asked, "Do you have an appointment here, because..." Danny whispered, "Let's just go." Agreed. She has yet to welcome us to the store. Not sure I have ever felt more unwelcome in a business.

It's worth the escalator ride upstairs, as Belk has one of the best men's departments in the area. The selection is quite broad, and the clothing logically arranged. And unlike other department stores, the shelves and tables are kept clean, and the clothes are folded and organized. If you have a choice as to when to shop in the men's department, come on the weekend, when Barry is working. You will not find a kinder, more attentive salesperson. He goes out of his way to help you search for the particular items you want in the sizes you need. And, in what I think makes shopping at Belk a great experience, after ringing you up Barry will walk around the counter to hand you you your shopping bag. It is a classy thing to do, and I get a broad smile every time. It is the shall touches like that that make Barry an exceptional salesperson, and Belk a great place to shop. I'd ignore the dated one and three star reviews. Belk has a great selection, at a reasonable price, in a nice shopping environment.
