    Bavarian Black Forest Ham sandwich
    Danielle R.

I wanted to love this sandwich. How could you go wrong with a Bavarian Black forest ham sandwich with Swiss on pretzel bread? They even add on a Bavarian mustard! A dream of a sandwich with a grilled buttery goodness BUT when you take your first bite, you notice that your ham sandwich has only 2 slices of shaved ham. Sorry, but that is a grilled cheese with a ham accent.

Checked this out today for the first time and ordered the seasonal special (brisket tacos) and cheese curds. Based on flavor alone, I would give this a 5 star review in the food truck category, but portion sizes are (very) small, especially when compared to the price. Seating availability, especially shaded and non-shaded would not be a factor if this was based on a food truck only category, but let's be honest, we are reviewing restaurants against each other, so it is a factor that needs to be considered, especially since some of the dishes served are (deliciously) saucy and cannot be eaten on the go. I am glad I tried it, but for the price, would likely choose a different venue when in the area.

Brisket grilled cheese Cheese action lol

The cheese trap happened to be parked at frankenmuth Fourth of July weekend, and noticed it walking down the drag of frankenmuth. Talk about Good surprise! It was extremely hot out and there were some tables but only a few had umbrellas so I didn't want to order to much hot food. We decided on the brisket grilled cheese. It was delicious and fresh. Would def get something from here again next time i see it! Hopefully it's not as hot out and I can explore more of the menu! Really wanted to get my hands on some of those cheese curds!!

Corn bread is made somewhere in China. Dry. Not home made I am 100% certain. You would think they…read morewould give you butter to at least attempt to cover the dryness. No. Too expensive I guess Pulled pork has no flavor at all. Ribs were just ok. They want 32 bucks per pound for brisket - don't offer it till 3. If you want a smaller portion the price per pound is more. Why?,?,,, pretty sure I am glad I arrived too early for brisket. I smoke foods at home. With pride. The guests suggested next time we just eat at my house. Fries were ok. Get bottled beer not draft. Lines are not clean. Service was very nice. Food, even though off the main drag is 100% tourist type.

I got Baked Beans and asparagus with it, both premium sides so extra. The Sirloin tips were good, however the Bourbon sauce was unlike any Bourbon sauce I've had before. In this case that's not a good thing. It was saved though by the tables Slo's bbq sauce. The Baked Beans were excellent and slightly spicy. The asparagus was a big pass. I would have expected a bbq twist on it, however they were very plain. When you're seated they bring a generous slice of cornbread. It was excellent. They serve honey butter with it, I'd add cinnamon for a nice addition! The service was good. Friendly and helpful. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes, but I'd get a different dish. I was surprised it wasn't busier for a Memorial Sunday lunch.
