So I can get every week. So can everyone else. I give you encouraged permission. I was brought to this ice cream Mecca by friends who discovered it after moving to the area. It's mildly deceiving as it's located in a gas station parking lot.... but a fabulous find!!! I was initially told that they had unique flavor offerings, but that is a tasty understatement. In my current third of five days in Saginaw Twp., I've tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter and completely devourer their Tri-Carmel and Copper Country... the Tri-Carmel an obvious medley of carmel ice cream, carmel ribbons and chocolate covered carmels, and the Copper Country a delicious mix of HOMEMADE brownies and carmel in vanilla ice cream. Additional offerings include Troll Mint (chocolate with Andes mints), Peanut Butter Banana (self-explanatory), and Dog Puke ("colored cookie dough in a colorful base") .... and a barrage of flavors including ingredients like coffee, dark chocolate flakes, toasted coconut, and other awesomeness. I will probably go back tomorrow. And I'll need to come to Saginaw Twp. more often. SOOOOOOO good!!!!

You can taste the chocolate in it, we were told that they get pounds of chocolate and make their own mixed here. You can honestly tell the difference, so delicious. We had gotten a snickerdoodle ice cream sandwhich, which my boyfriend said: "The hot chocolate made us come but the snickerdoodle stole my heart" On top of that, the customer service was great. We were asked about our thanksgiving plans and had a nice conversation, which I don't find often up north, but as a 50% southerner, made me miss home! The ice cream was as good as any ice cream you'll find in an ice cream shop in the mid-west and they even make their waffle cones fresh in something resembling a home waffle iron. What blew me away were the fried doughnut bites. They had some sitting out and looked good so I ordered some to go. The gentleman working there said he would make me a fresh batch anyway, despite there being some ready to go. He fried the mini doughnut and I requested them be topped with cinnamon-sugar. I sat outside and took a bite of these doughnut and I had one of those moments where I realized that every doughnut I have eaten in a grocery store or at Dunkin' Donuts has been a dry, stale, sham. From now on I will look back to those fried doughnut bites at Jaami's in Frankenmuth. I'm no connoisseur, but I have a feeling it will be many years before I have anything comparable.
