Enjoyed this Centurion Lounge during a layover in Seattle. Private line and zero wait for Centurion members. The private room for Centurion members was a great touch, similar to the London location. The chef even brought out a curated charcuterie selection. Not very excited about the lunch options, flavors not my taste. However, it was the perfect place to relax, with the private room providing some much-needed peace and quiet between flights.

Got into the lounge right at opening at 5am. Only we're able to do the cold bar as hot food starts at 6. Bagel was of great quality compared to most lounges the other bright spot was the chocolate croissant. Pineapple also fresh other things were not for me. Coffee bar was a great touch. Staff was friendly and helpful

7/8/26: Puget Sound Raw Bar

Had the best complementary buffet in an airport lounge in my life. My wife, her mom, and I were traveling back home to LAX from Seattle on a Wednesday. Due to price differences, I ended up booking the direct flight for 17:30 for savings. Since we needed to check out of our Mercer Island airbnb by 11, we ended up staying around the airport for a while. It is stated that Centurion Lounge allows access 3 hours before your scheduled departure. At this location, this is easily enforced by not letting one join their mandatory virtual queue until the time is within that timeframe. So we joined the queue at exactly 2:30, and got a text invitation with QR code 15 minutes later. Check-in was the same, requiring the actual CC that grants entry, along with ID and boarding pass. It's a pretty big lounge and it wasn't packed like we saw from previous visits, so then appreciated the timed entry that we had just gone through. We were able to find seating near the bar area. The first thing I noticed was the busy cold seafood bar, situated near the coffee bar. It looked good, but didn't realize how good until I started to partake. There were two chefs manning the bar...one constantly shucking oysters and the other making sure the shrimp and scallops were maintained, joining in the shucking when he could. It was called the 'Puget Sound Raw Bar', and consisted of freshly shucked Kumamoto and Takara Oysters on the half shell, scallop Ceviche on the half shell, salmon crudo, poached prawns, two different types of poke, and various seafood salads. I was really impressed with the oysters...instead of the typical Pacific oysters, this was Kumamoto which is so much sweeter, but so much smaller. Have never had more than half dozen at a time of those, and I had way more than that this time (my wife and her mom don't like cold seafood, let alone raw, so felt I had to make up for that). I did have my fill of giant chilled shrimp, though. And the scallop ceviche was absolutely delicious. The salmon poke used wild salmon caught in the area...even in poke, it was obvious that it was king salmon and the quality just shined. All of this was quality that would fit into a high priced seafood tower at a high-end steakhouse. We had time, so ended up trying different types of their cocktail drinks from the bar as well. They allow you to only pick up one drink per person at a time, so had to request my wife to go up to directly pick up hers. Later learned that this buffet is only offered once or twice a month, and only for 3-4 hours. Looking back, I felt like I hit the lottery by being offered this for no additional cost at the exact time of our visit. Will take these small wins, whenever I can.

Tuscan roast chicken, turmeric rice, roast kale and fava beans, cream of mushroom soup, and a filthy gin martini.

This is definitely my favorite Centurion Lounge I've been to in the Continental US. The food was excellent, the lounge was clean, and the hospitality was welcoming and pleasant! The food was excellent! The roasted Tuscan chicken thighs and fava beans were highlights! Specific kudos to Jamie, Justin, and Kianna. They made for great conversation and gave some good local insight on the products they had behind the bar. They are a delight to deal with behind the bar and I look forward to seeing them again.

Food: The food was good at this Centurion during our visit. I had some salmon and veggies as well as some chocolate chip cookies. Service: Service seemed to be pretty good and what you would expect from a Centurion lounge. Ambiance: Ive only been to 2 Centurion and I would say overall, they were about the same overall, including ambiance. Overall: I would rate this Centurion lounge a 3.5-4

Give this guy on help desk a raise !! Pretty good experience. We came almost at the closing time. My friend had lounge access and plan was to pay $50 for me a guest. It's a bummer that Amex has taken away companion option. Since we were already pretty late - there is so much we could eat/drink. Given we had a long red eye flight - we decided to go in. The guy was sweet enough to offer me a free entry. In retrospect that makes sense - what are they gonna do with leftovers anyways. May just earn some positive PR - and they surely did from my end. I took his permission if I can put him on a review. Talking about lounge - pretty good ambience, have been to other Seattle airport lounges and this one is the best. The food on the night was average but loved the carrot-turmeric-shot. The cookie were also pretty freshly baked. I would recommend trying Egg Salad which was probably the best dish this night.

Beautiful! The food was definitely better than some of their other lounges. Although not as big as their flagship in Atlanta, this is probably my favorite Centurion lounge so far. I love the dedicated coffee bar, and the wine bar had a nice selection. The cleaning staff was prompt and it did not feel crowded.

How is this acacado toast? This is more like green stained toast.

The staff are friendly enough, but geez - this place looks like a homeless shelter. Every couch has people splayed about asleep like they just got off of the streets. Food is decent for being free, so there's that.

Best part of the lounge.

Our excitement to try the Centurion Lounge at SEA turned into disappointment. Front desk told us to scan the barcode and it will be about 30 mins wait. Forty five minutes passed, no text message so I decided to asked. They cannot find my name on the list, so I showed them the time when I received the email joining the dreaded wait list and they let us in. Entered and surprised at least 4-5 tables were empty! Food was just average. Not impressed with the selection and quality of dishes. I believed the only three great things about this lounge were the "Blue Roast", plane spotting and courteous dining staff. I paid $50 for my wife and I believed it wasn't worth it. Used and paid Delta Sky Lounge twice during our travel for $50 each and both times were worth it and zero wait times! If you have access to different lounge try it first so less stress while traveling!

Kay K.

I've tried to access this lounge before on a previous Seattle layover but there was a 45 minute wait. This time I submitted my name in advance while sitting on the plane taxiing and the timing worked perfectly. Got my notification, walked off the plane and into the lounge. The low(er) yelp rating from past reviewers had me managing expectations and I'm glad I did. It is a spacious lounge that winds much further back so there is ample seating throughout. The bar is popular. So is the coffee bar. It appears to have a rotating menu based on past pictures compared to what was listed on the menu today. The warm food selection is OK. Not impressive but it'll provide a nourishing meal. The salad bar is petite. There are 2 soup offerings. If you're curious enough to still check it out, I suggest joining the waitlist online as soon as you land (or while in security line) instead of walking up to the lounge and asking. I don't think it's worth the 30+ minute wait but if you time it right, you can walk right up and enter. One thing I will give this location major kudos for - the staffing levels and prompt cleaning/service is top notch. This is a very well staffed lounge that can handle high volume of visitors. I watched clean dishes and utensils restocked rapidly, dishes cleared right away, food refreshed consistently, and servers repeatedly walking through the area. So for that, I would say this lounge deserves top stars. Just wish the food offerings were a little bit better.

There were decent food choices. The rice was good. And there was a fair amount of drink and shot options. They also had an ice cream/coffee area. Pretty clean inside. It's near the food court so easy to find location. Quiet and relaxing. Service was nice and attentive. It's not the best but it works. Other centurion lounges had better food.Wifi works well.

David L.

The lounge is on the mezzanine level above the food court in the central terminal. There is a lot of seating available. Dining type seating is more towards the front and more comfortable seating behind the food bars past the restrooms which offer views from windows. The service good, attentive, and friendly. The food was slightly above average but they had a nice and varied selection including 3 different cookies not including brownies. The had a coffee bar which had ice cream and the Seahawks Soda which was a good mocktail. Overall a pleasant experience. Could've been better but could've been much much worse.

James R.

The Centurion Lounge struggles with its basic operations more than the others. There were no utensils then no coffee cups - you get the idea. The lounge knows how many people will be there so it hard to understand why it cannot plan better. The new location has some airport views if you can find the seat. The coffee bar was a nice add, but had a line. Relaxing not so much.

I may have left my wallet in the Centurion Lounge, how do I contact them?

Are there Lockers?

I've not seen any and I don't think that would be allowed at the airport. In my experience, folks keep their bags with them during the visit.

Unfortunately people kept cutting to get in saying they got a text it was their turn but others in line were waiting for the same thing. The staff allowed this and did nothing to organize the lines... we waited for so long that the system took us off our spot by the time we got to the front of the line. Staff let us in anyway but it was frustrating to see so many people allowed to cut us. Then, it was quite crowded so we took a bit to find a seat. Unfortunately (again), the seats were torn and obviously worn out --not in the best state that's for sure. The food was not good and there were flies on the items that were left out so I stuck with the soup only. The one redeeming perk is they had full sized soda cans (I love Diet Coke). Tbh I'd rather just sit at the gate than come here again.

While it does have the typical newer UC standard aesthetic with furnishings, the food and bar area is sad. The food selection was minimal salad remnants, and the basic bar was the tiniest one after the old SFO International Terminal United Club bar. Maybe six feet in length and no barstools. Besides, it was closed for the night. Granted, I did arrive at 9:30PM, just before 10PM closing. I would've been in the club earlier but I had to walk from the Light Rail outside the garage, past Concourses D, C, B to United Check-in at A, then back to TSA Pre-check in D, then back to A where United Club is located. That's lots of back-tracking and terrible passenger service planning by TSA and the airport authority. Having Pre-check open only at one far end of the terminal and not in the center makes no sense. I drank some water, drank some soup from the bottom of the bin, took photos for posterity and Yelp, and left to walk back to B where United gates have relocated. The only good news about this club is that it's closing next year and will be replaced by a new one in Concourse B. But avoid until then, it's not worth the walk.

Rainier, eating at a Sunday buffet on Shilshole Bay, and much more. The Seattle area was still sort of sleepy and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) was a quieter and easier airport to navigate. It was still easy to navigate when I lived in this area for a number of years. If not wanting to incur parking costs while on vacation, it was the airport bus ride from the Bellevue Transit Center that was the only thorn in the side. I believe it was bus 340. It was the equivalent of a milk train. Now, there's light rail that crosses Lake Washington from Bellevue and, of course, the initial light rail line from downtown to the airport. I actually have had two arrival experiences here in the last 5 years. The most recent was a domestic arrival on United. Prior to that was a really interesting arrival coming back from Europe and using the seasonal and completely full Finnair Airbus 350 flight from Helsinki after connecting there. I can now say that, despite rapid transit up to Seattle, I do not like SEA as much as I once did. You get three guesses as to why, and the first two don't count. You guessed it. The rapid and significant population growth, the increased business activity in the area, and the increasing tourism are starting to stretch this airport. They have a building program in place, but I'm still not thrilled with SEA. Take note that the growth has prompted the opening of Paine Field up in Everett to commercial operations. On a positive note, the international arrival here has obviously been updated. But, then, SEA has always been an important hub for international flights, particularly to the Orient (is that word still ok, or do I need to say Asia?) and there were standard nonstops on a British 747 to London and on Scandinavian to Copenhagen. I once took the latter and they used a smaller 767. In recent years, Lufthansa, Air France, Irish Aer Lingus, and Emirates have come into the market, thus increasing international traffic at this airport. SEA used to have the boomerang shaped terminal along the access road, the unique rounded concrete parking garages across the street with corkscrew ramps, and, beyond gates from the main terminal, north and south satellites for which you used an underground tram. With growth, additional satellites have been added on, so it's not as straightforward. The newer international wing is on the south end of the original boomerang building (in the direction of Tacoma), and it appears to have been scabbed on, thus thickening this part of the lengthy main building. The concourses feel small, or narrow, and there have been throngs of people walking through. This was the feeling deplaning from a United flight at a B gate. It must be remembered that SEA is the key airport in this corner of the country. There improvements in the international wing are noteworthy. I used this newer area upon landing here on that Finnair flight. The biggest plus is that, upon deplaning, one collects their bags prior to going through passport control. In most airports, it has been the other way around. I prefer what Seattle has done. To get you over to and back from some of the international flights, there is a huge skybridge to and from this satellite. The escalators attached to them are very long. If you have anything other than a personal item and a very small carry-on, you should opt for the elevators. I first saw this bridge that planes can pass under many years ago at LGW near London and thought it was nifty. Now, it's a commonplace feature, showing up at LaGuardia and other U.S. airports. It's fun to watch planes go under one, but I do not especially like going up and then down to use these bridges. One can see the more complex clustering of SEA's satellites on the airport map. They can also see it from the alphabet soup of terminal indications inside the airport. Upon exiting, it's a lot of ups and downs, including to levels that look like mezzanines, to reach baggage claim, the street, or the parking structure. The rental cars used to be in the quirky trademark parking structure. They are now north of the airport property in a dedicated building and use shuttle buses, which can get very crowded. They may have another option to get there in the works. The staff at SEA is pleasant. I'm sure it's nicer to work here than at various other major airports, so that may be reflected in how they treat passengers. Except for accessing it via transit, I easily gave yesteryear's SEA 4 stars. With all the growth having to be absorbed in the existing footprint and thus making the experience a little more hectic for passengers, I now find SEA to be a 3 star experience.
