Lounge viewpoint from a seat in the back

I rate this lounge higher bc of the service. The staff keeps the lounge clean and it has the basic amenities a lounge should have. It isn't a premium lounge and that might be why the average of the reviews for this lounge is lower. Also there's ample outlets to charge your phone and devices. There's also decent amount of space to sit and relax. For me, I don't expect lounges to all have premium food and service. Having said that, I wouldn't spend lots of money to come in here.

This review is for my experience early this year. With JAL business class ticket comes with their own lounge or with an affiliate partner if not available. I recall my past British Airway flight to be pleasant so I opted to spend my hour layover here at British Airways Terraces Lounge. Boy, was this place a disappointment. If this service was not complimentary with my flight, then I would never recommend anyone to pay for entrance. The snacks and drinks are sparse. As vegan and/or someone with dietary restrictions, options are limited to fruit, plain crisps (chips, is the British coming back?), and drinks. The only redeeming factor is their live service bar, aka alcohol. I had some time until my departure so I went on line and requested a mimosa. At first she looked at me funny, perhaps she thought I was underage? (Asian genes) Then for some strange reason the lady served me a Bloody Mary! Which is absolutely not vegetarian, let alone vegan. I did not want to cause a scene or the long line to wait, so I just took the drink, grabbed an apple and bag of plain chips to a window seat. If I couldn't have the drink, I figured I'd get a lemonade or their special fruit infused water by the self-service bar. Nope, for some reason they contained honey or some sort of sugar... Plain water it was for me! It's okay, I will just have the fresh apple, that is wrapped in plastic like a gift? The exterior was waxy and the flesh tasted of nothing. It was not sweet nor satisfying. Luckily the bag of chips was the only thing edible. At least the front desk was friendly? Off to my flight I went and hope to never return to this lounge again.

The BA lounge at the S gates is open 4 hours before the morning and evening flights with BA. The crescent shaped lounge offers views over pine forests. There is free WiFi available, plug sockets though are only found by the window seats so if that is important to you, then get there early as these seats are taken quickly. There are a couple of other less convenient sockets if you do miss out! The staff are attentive from check in through to the lounge itself. The chairs are a bit tired and worn in places, but very comfortable. Food and drink is limited but what there is is of high quality, with a nice selection of local area speciality wines and cheeses.

Nice Lounge with perfect overview obout the apron-/airfield. Service staff is very friendly and welcoming you. Lounge can be a bit squeezed during peak hours. Nice sandwich selection an local cheese from Pikes Place Market. All spirits available and some IPA´s as well.

Flying business is not enough to access, I am told at the door. I am baffled. The " lady"at the door was quite stern.

I like that this lounge had an upper and lower level, but there were so many available seats, we stayed on the first floor. The bar was great and had lots of NA options including mocktails. There were lots of food options to choose from with lighter options like hummus, salads, cheese, and crackers to chicken and bbq ribs. Lots of amazing deserts! This lounge also had a Clam Chowder station, Apple Cider Station, and so much more. The soda machine was broken but there were cans of sodas for us to have which was a nice alternative. Overall, this was probably my favorite lounge experience! There were also these really cool carved pencils on display. It was fun looking at all the designs and shapes.

The Delta Sky Club at A1 is very nice. It has a large food area and plenty of seating upstairs ( I…read moresaw no elevator) and on the main level. The club was well staffed and they cleaned the empty tables very quickly. The club was also very quiet as they made no announcements so you need to keep an eye on the time and the distance from the club to the gate. The club is also very nicely decorated with sports jerseys framed on the walls and hanging artwork from the ceiling. Breakfast is served from opening until 10:30 and then they shut down until lunch starts at 11am.

Located by Gate A10, they are a bit out of the way nowadays because their flights moved to B gates. Plan on walking 13 minutes between lounge and gates according to their sign. We did the walk in 9 minutes. During breakfast time, they had a pretty good egg salad croissant sandwich and fresh berries. The photos posted by others are accurate.

The SeaTac United Club feels like the other small clubs that United forgot about (like PDX, LAS). I…read moreguess they gave up competing with Delta and Alaska Air for frequent fliers to/from Seattle? While it does have the typical newer UC standard aesthetic with furnishings, the food and bar area is sad. The food selection was minimal salad remnants, and the basic bar was the tiniest one after the old SFO International Terminal United Club bar. Maybe six feet in length and no barstools. Besides, it was closed for the night. Granted, I did arrive at 9:30PM, just before 10PM closing. I would've been in the club earlier but I had to walk from the Light Rail outside the garage, past Concourses D, C, B to United Check-in at A, then back to TSA Pre-check in D, then back to A where United Club is located. That's lots of back-tracking and terrible passenger service planning by TSA and the airport authority. Having Pre-check open only at one far end of the terminal and not in the center makes no sense. I drank some water, drank some soup from the bottom of the bin, took photos for posterity and Yelp, and left to walk back to B where United gates have relocated. The only good news about this club is that it's closing next year and will be replaced by a new one in Concourse B. But avoid until then, it's not worth the walk.
