We had 6:45 pm reservations but got there about 30 minutes early and they were very gracious to get us seated early.. beautiful place, good food very attractively served and good size portions.. very reasonable prices surprisingly! A good surprise.. the hostess was extremely nice and the accommodative.. and the space was quiet enough for a great date night place.. only downside the waitress.. did her job and nothing else.. definitely go and enjoy!!

We had dinner in the pub area while visiting Natchez. We had fried oysters , pickles and pork belly for appetizers. They were all delicious. I had the Lamb and Mash for my entree and it was fabulous! We had the Chocolate Flight and cheesecake for dessert and they did not disappoint. The service was incredible, we had a great time.

The Castle @ Dunleith redeemed itself this evening. The cuisine and our waiter Cortez were off the chain! What an incredible dining experience-rivaling the best restaurants of New Orleans! Everyone in our party was overly impressed with the quality and presentation! Each dish was brilliantly executed and tantalizing! Cortez was the best waiter I have encountered in years. Home run, and out of the park Castle! Bravo!!

We ate supper at the Pub, the castle was closed that evening. However, our meal was amazing. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The new owners have done and outstanding renovation of the building, adding a deck and covered outdoor seating for the pub downstairs.

It's small inside, probably only about 10 tables or so. It's kinda like a pizza joint, but very clean and comfortable. There are brightly painted walls and it smells amazing! Service: You order at the counter, pay, get a number, and seat yourself. You get your own drinks and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. The wait for our food was maybe 10 minutes at the most? The girl who took our order and brought our food was very pleasant and made good suggestions when we were trying to figure out what to get. Food: I ended up getting the Big John's Cheeseburger (basically a classic cheeseburger) with curly fries. Yum, yum, yum. This burger tasted so homemade, like off the grill in the summer. It was juicy but not overly greasy. Personally, I would've liked a little less mayo and mustard but that is more just a preference. Oh my stars the fries! So good and FUN! It had been forever since I had curly fries. These do not disappoint. My fiance got the Jacked Up Burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno peppers, bacon) and said kinda the same thing - super fresh and just yummy. The jalapeno peppers, pepper jack cheese, and bacon made it different then a regular burger and worked really well together. They have other specialty burgers, sandwiches, po'boys, BBQ plates, and salads. There is also a kid menu. Cost: Super inexpensive! Our burgers were only $10! They don't cheat you on portions either. The burgers were at least 8oz and you got a mound of curly fries. Free refills on fountain soda. It's probably a good thing I don't live around this place or I'd be eating burgers and fries wayyyy too often. If you are in Natchez Moo's is a must!

Ribs were not seasoned. BBQ sauce not house made. BBQ beans tasted like straight out of the can…read morewith a slight hint of bbq sauce/ vinegar? The sweet potato casserole is identical to one a local food distributor sells. (The highlight of the meal). Fried pepperjack cheese stick was disgusting! It basically was a tasteless cheese stick encrusted in a thick bread like coating. (Like a corn dog). $30 down the toilet..... Obviously the locals like it, because they were fairly busy. The back court yard could be fixed up/cleaned up for a nice outdoor dining spot. It was not clean as well
