kenny@ductcleaningsolution.com…read more I called Kenny Gunnels of Duct Cleaning Solution LLC in Smiths Station, AL to get help resolving a dust issue that was impacting my health. We had lots of dust particles circulating regularly through our HVAC system, which was making me cough and sneeze constantly and keeping my house very dusty. The particles impacted my health causing upper respiratory infections, bronchitis and allergy headaches. I was surprised to learn there was microbial growth in the ducts, so I also asked for the encapsulation process, which involves the application of a polymer coating sealant to the interior of insulated ductwork. The product Kenny used is designed specifically for use in HVAC ductwork and has anti-microbial properties to aid in the prevention of future microbial contamination. I was so impressed With Kenny's work ethic and diligence to ensure everything was done correctly. I'm currently working from home and there was minor noise and literally no disruption to my work day. I'm glad that I found a great professional to help resolve our issue with contaminants in our HVAC system, The other thing that I loved about the service was that Kenny was a great communicator letting me know when he was on his way, when he was here and when he was finished. He even sent text messages with pictures so that I can share them with my husband gets home from work! I highly recommend Kenny Gunnels with Duct Cleaning Solution LLC if you need to improve your air quality in your home!

I use Yelp for pretty much everything and I have been for quite some time. There was no exception…read morewhen I decided to hire Lilac Cleaning for a deep cleaning because I wanted one less task to takeoff my to-do list. The owner sold me on expectations (i.e., ceiling fans, baseboards, oven, doors, glass shower, everything would be clean). I asked if there was a preference for having someone home during the clean and was told they would rather clean while you're out which was fine. I had tons of things to do. Nonetheless, I couldn't wait to book the services!!! Initially, I was told she didn't have any openings for today. She later returned and said someone could come out to clean on the day that I requested. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I live in new construction, it's just my daughter and I, and we've only been in the place a year and a half. It's not filthy at all. We honestly could've performed the deep cleaning ourselves and guess what?! This is exactly how it looked when I returned home. I'm beyond disappointed. The owner was very polite and did offer to come out and correct the issue but my trust in what would be done without me being present again went completely out of the window. After several exchanges asking for a partial refund I was sent the following message which I just couldn't accept: "I understand. Unfortunately because I did have a cleaner there and had to pay for the labor I'm unable to comp this clean. Like I said, I'd be happy to come clean it personally, even on a date closer to when you'll be home. I sincerely apologize." My response, "Can you pay the labor and return the remainder?" The refund wasn't even half of what I paid. Needless to say, I'm still on the search for a cleaning company who delivers as promised. I learned a very valuable lesson - Just get up and do it yourself if you have the time, energy, and resources. In this instance, it's okay to be picky. Try out Lilac Cleaning for yourself. Your experience may be entirely different.

A few months ago they lost my husband's $50 shirt and only compensated me with a $19 shirt. I will never go there again and surely feel very disappointed after 8 years.
