The when I ask for the "supervisors" number she refused and threatened to call CPS as pay back! For the clutter mind you that's what the service was for not to mention my little guy wasn't even here and my husband and I had just switched the bedroom and office the night before. There was no exception…read morewhen I decided to hire Lilac Cleaning for a deep cleaning because I wanted one less task to takeoff my to-do list. The owner sold me on expectations (i.e., ceiling fans, baseboards, oven, doors, glass shower, everything would be clean). I asked if there was a preference for having someone home during the clean and was told they would rather clean while you're out which was fine. I had tons of things to do. Nonetheless, I couldn't wait to book the services!!! Initially, I was told she didn't have any openings for today. She later returned and said someone could come out to clean on the day that I requested. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I live in new construction, it's just my daughter and I, and we've only been in the place a year and a half. It's not filthy at all. We honestly could've performed the deep cleaning ourselves and guess what?! This is exactly how it looked when I returned home. I'm beyond disappointed. The owner was very polite and did offer to come out and correct the issue but my trust in what would be done without me being present again went completely out of the window. After several exchanges asking for a partial refund I was sent the following message which I just couldn't accept: "I understand. Unfortunately because I did have a cleaner there and had to pay for the labor I'm unable to comp this clean. Like I said, I'd be happy to come clean it personally, even on a date closer to when you'll be home. I sincerely apologize." My response, "Can you pay the labor and return the remainder?" The refund wasn't even half of what I paid. Needless to say, I'm still on the search for a cleaning company who delivers as promised. I learned a very valuable lesson - Just get up and do it yourself if you have the time, energy, and resources. In this instance, it's okay to be picky. Try out Lilac Cleaning for yourself. Your experience may be entirely different.

Considering that 4 construction workers had well, wrecked the place previous to our moving in... we'd often wondered who took our new place from FILTHY to FABULOUS... and it was her! Finally in the 30 years I've lived in and moved all over the place, I didn't have to lose my ever-loving mind having to completely overhaul the place because she'd already meticulously and graciously taken care of that for me... and for that I couldn't have been more grateful... as someone with asthma and severe allergies to mold, dust, and pet dander (etc). Therefore, I will sing Starlin's and her awesome company's praises always. Personal integrity, taking pride in one's craft, listening to and respecting the customer, and paying attention to detail are everything. Miss Starlin is that... and so much more. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I was told that the cleaning crew of 2 would be at my home from 2:00 to 4:00 pm (2…read morehours for $190.00), then one member shows up at 2:25 ringing my RING doorbell, (got'em on camera), then two other people show up coming in the door at 2:29. At 3:15 the crew of 3 were taking their cleaning supplies to their vehicle. Not even a whole hour of cleaning and they were out the door. I was promised a full 2 hours with a crew of 2. Hmmmmm, Ok, I guess I shouldn't have scheduled a cleaning on a Friday afternoon, go figure, they were so anxious to get out the door to start their weekend early! And I didn't even get a full hour of cleaning and what was done was HALF-ASSED. First of all one worker used glass cleaner on our wooden furniture and she wiped half of a lazy-susan on our wooden breakfast table across the middle leaving dust visible on it and on the table. Several things in our living room like our entertainment center & mantle with lamps & pictures wasn't even touched. The bedrooms were done half-assed, most items were not even wiped off, I rubbed my finger on several things after they left & realized they were not even touched. I think they were just here to make an appearance, get a check, and get the hell out of my home. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLEANING SERVICE TO ANYONE! This is some of the worst house cleaning I've ever had done, nothing but a total waste of $190.00 for less than one hour cleaning service. ECC, you got me once but never again! A TOTAL RIP-OFF!
