When tenants used a home steamer that didn't effectively pick up water, leaving the carpet soaked in spots, they quickly responded with humidifiers, steam cleaning and enzyme treatment. Later, unsupervised pets caused some carpet damage, including ripped areas. Thankfully, South Texas Carpet offers carpet repair, which was a huge relief. Standout features of this company is their responsiveness and reliability and the potential to use them for other services like tile/grout cleaning, air duct cleaning etc. They've always been dependable whenever I've needed them. The only reason I said 4.5 stars is that they recently requested payment upfront and while they were accommodating--considering my reluctance to pay large amounts upfront due to past experiences with small businesses--they kept mentioning a 20% late charge if I didn't pay within the same day. As a repeat customer who always pays directly after the work is checked, I was surprised by this change and their hesitation to leave an invoice since I wasn't present. It's their right to charge extra late fees for Next Day Payments, and perhaps they have been burned by customers and are being more adamant about timely payments? But it wasn't me and I felt slightly offended. Additionally, I think their enzyme treatment for bacteria and microbes could benefit from a longer application time for stronger odors. They returned once for a persistent smell, and while they re-applied the treatment, I believe letting it sit longer could improve results and reduce the need for additional trips/treatments in the long run. Nevertheless, this is the best carpet cleaner I've had in San Antonio. I will definitely call them again for future services, and I appreciate that they're willing to return if needed.

Basically paid 1300 for Jeff to Mop and Glow my Travertine Stone floors. For the past 3 weeks I…read morehave tried my best to resolve this issue. Jeff has not returned my text messages or phone calls. Even though he texted me and stated he would fix problem from 28- 31 Oct 19. I am no rookie and have had my floors stripped and polished on numerous occasions so I know the process and procedures. Jeff and his father came to my home to strip and polish my stone flooring, they did a horrible job, and when I noticed his father basically using mop and glow equilevant to shine my floor I inquired when are you going to buff my floors to a shine. His father stated that they were done? I immediately started looking at my floors and noticed tons of flaws where they left the stripping compound on the floor and then Mop and glowed over it, imbedding the stain on the stone. Also they did not completely cover my floor with the mop and glo agent so I have spots that are not polished at all. Lastly after 2 days the mop and glo they used started to peel and leave streak marks all over my house. I sent pictures to Jeff, and asked that he come over and polish floor as per our contract. Take a look below and see the substandard work they did. Also see the contract where it clearly states Waxed, and highly polished in the contract. None of which happened. Do not use this company they do not do what they state, and due horrible work.
