He told us the car we were buying was in a minor accident. No big deal. Looked at it, drove it and bought it. After a day, part of the front bumper popped out and I tried to put it back in, but I couldn't. I called the dealer and was told mechanically it's fine and so they won't help with repairing the bumper. Now, before they sold it, they fixed the bumper so it would sell! I know this because of the online pictures of the vehicle the dealer posted, before they did a quick fix to sell it. The pictures showed the damage and when we bought it, it was fixed. It was not fixed properly though, and the bumper popped out the day after we drove it home. I now have to take a car I just bought to a collision shop to get it fixed properly. Is this fair? Is this good customer service? I don't think so. Come on West Herr, take care of your customers so we can give you a better review.

I am in a Brand New 2025 SV Crew cab with convenience package because A westherr Dealership wanted to roll me 9 grand. Mike Barney Nissan beat Westherr by taking my offer with no hassle- No Roll! WestHerr is paying out Millions to have Football player endorsements. So, guess where they get the money from- BUYERS! Your trade low-ball! Tho we do get some service at this location. I do my own repairs- Another West-Herr ripoff! I literally saved over a grand when they failed inspection. By doing my own TIE-RODS. Tie-rods that I bought for 91 bucks new. WH Nissan wanted around over 700 for the parts and labor. Keep in mind that tie rods only take about 10 minutes each to install in a shop. But shops charge book hours and sometimes over charge the book guide that is law. Anyway, my point is I just bought two new vehicles from other dealers because WestHerr really does not want my business- I'm not the stupid uneducated buyer they prey on!

I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from West Herr Nissan of Lockport…read more I purchased a brand new vehicle and within two months had to bring it back because the front fender clips were never properly installed. That's a basic quality control issue that should have been caught before the car was ever delivered. Shortly after, the windshield cracked. When I brought this to their attention, they completely refused to take any responsibility and told me that cracked windshields are "part of owning a vehicle" and that it's on me to go through insurance. For a brand new car, this response is unacceptable. Instead of standing behind the vehicle they sold, they were dismissive and unwilling to help. Between poor initial assembly/inspection and the lack of accountability afterward, this has been a very disappointing experience. When you buy a new car, you expect quality and at least some level of support if issues come up immediately. That was not the case here. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

My Subaru Outback's Infotainment screen began malfunctioning and was unresponsive. I called this dealership and was offered an immediate appointment. We brought the car in on a Saturday and it was repaired and returned to us the following Wednesday. I initially spoke with Cole on the telephone, and he was very helpful in getting my car right in. Once at the dealership, we were assigned Jonas Walker as our Service Advisor. We were given a loaner car to use while ours was being worked on. Jonas kept us informed of the status of the repairs, and we were pleased with how he handled our service. All in all, it was a good experience.

Most recently, I drove from Los Angeles to Buffalo and then Buffalo to Maine. On my way back to Buffalo from Maine, my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree around Utica. I promptly pulled over, tried to let the car cool down, etc. I ended up driving back to Buffalo but knew I needed to get the car looked at and possibly repaired, ASAP especially because I was planning to drive back to Los Angeles the following day. After trying to take my car to the dealership I purchased it from, I ended up at West Herr Subaru in Lockport as it was suggested they may be able to get me back on the road faster. I called over to West Herr Subaru to see if this was indeed the case and spoke with Jonas Walker who would quickly become my Service Advisor and Subaru Superhero. Jonas couldn't promise me he could get my car diagnosed the same day (Monday) but was hopeful for the following day. Given the fact I was in such a pinch, I decided to drop my car off on Monday anyway and heard from Jonas later that afternoon (hallelujah). As suspected, my car was in serious need of repair and the parts probably wouldn't be in until Thursday - two days after I was scheduled to leave Buffalo - ah! Jonas did, however, inform me it could be a same day repair once the parts were in. Ok, I can work with this (driving like a madwoman loading). Around 9:30am on Thursday, I called West Herr Subaru and was told Jonas would be out for two-weeks and, truly, my stomach dropped - is he ok? Did he order the parts? What about my car? Rest assured, West Herr took great care of me and my now elderly Subaru. Another Service Advisor stepped in and informed me my car is ready for pick up! What?! OK, be right there! I was on the road by about 11:30am on Thursday and am very happy to report I am now back in Los Angeles and had a hassle free drive back. Thank you Jonas and West Herr Subaru for your timely and friendly customer service. MUCH APPRECIATED! Oh - can't forget the Josh Allen cut out I got when I picked up my car. I will be looking at that fondly ;)

***GIVE A READ BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE*** *** A college…read morestudent 14k in debt AFTER owning jeep for 5 months*** *** Refuse to help because of "Lemon Law". No Good Will*** A couple months ago, I approached Tom and informed him that I was in need of a vehicle, preferably a jeep or truck. I explained I was a college student, my car was just stolen and I needed something that was reliable and fits my needs! There was a Jeep that had everything I was looking for. I asked as many questions as I could about this vehicle. Tom informed me that this Jeep was excellent, everything was tested, reliable and that "We stand by our vehicles and if something goes wrong, we do what's right to take care of the customer". And that there was nothing to worry about on the mileage (114,000k) because it was in excellent condition. I purchased the Jeep happily and feeling confident. The engine light came on 2 days after purchasing and he said it was nothing to worry about. Long story short, it's been 5 months and the engine need to be replaced. Every mechanic and dealership I brought the jeep too said that there was no way the seller didn't know something was wrong. Upon inspection, things were rigged up within the engine. I'm now a college student in Nursing school who is in 14k debt on a vehicle that I can't even drive. Have no money to fix or replace this engine. I called him for help and he kept trying to throw me off and put the problem onto the mechanic. Tom also said he would not help pay anything. The most he said he could do is inspect my jeep and fix it, but would charge me the full amount and would be 3 months out! remind you, winter is coming in 2 weeks. They do not care about their customers. They dont know what good will is. Don't recommend to anyone.
