Here again! Absolutely love coming here. The fajitas are amazing (forgot to take pic) and the $5 margaritas- YAY! Jill had a Harvest Beet Salad and said it was the best she ever had. Their Queso- amazing! And the staff- so courteous and kind! To top it off they gave a GC to support a local person with cancer. If you're in the skook and need a place for Mexican food, this is a great place to check out! Everything is reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. I got the chocolate martini and the enchiladas verde! Our server was able to provide quick service with our table of 12. This had a great atmosphere to hold our work get together and we had an amazing time. This has been my 3rd time here and I will always highly recommend this place. read more

Ordered the chicken fajitas with rice and refried beans and empanadas for take out. The peppers and onions could have been cooked longer. No flavor in the chicken,pepper and onions. Salsa was good. For country PA this is ok place to get mexican food but I guess they have to appeal to folks that don't actually enjoy mexican food as the majority of menu is american based. Being from NY metro area we did have many excellent mexican and Spanish restaurants to choose from so finding this one was nice and the mexican food they do make is good. We're locals. This is one of our "new" favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing and the ambiance is cozy. The fajitas, wings, and the chimichanga are our favorite dishes and they have never disappointed. Make sure you have someone to share the fried ice cream with after dinner because it's a huge portion! read more

Twice went to get lunch there and they were closed. Not sure what is going on there. They're only open for dinner now. Food is okay but not at all authentic "Mexican". It's more like Tex Mex. This might not be just the worst Mexican meal, or restaurant meal, but meal in general that I've ever had or will ever have. Where to start. I ordered a burrito, rice, and beans. That's extremely hard to mess up. The burrito was wrapped funny, which is just nitpicking, but inside the beef was roast beef. Whenever I've ever gotten a burrito anywhere, It's always been ground beef. Shredded beef is fine, but it tasted like it came from a crock pot with carrots and potatoes. The beef itself tasted fine but I didn't particularly ask for or want a roast beef burrito. Now the rice. If I had the time, I'd write 10 page research paper on what was wrong with it. The rice somehow had less flavor than white rice. It was orange rice with carrots and peas. I actually had to look up if carrots and peas belongs in Mexican rice. It's not extremely common but some people do. So that's fine. The rice itself felt like bland rubber bullets bouncing off my teeth with each bite. Normally the rice is orange-ish from tomato but there was no tomato in that rice. I would guess they achieved that by food coloring. I'm pretty sure you could throw white rice in a pot with a tomato and let it boil for an hour and you'll have more flavor. And I KNOW you could find a frozen Mexican rice meal at Walmart and it'll have, no exaggeration, probably at least 5x the flavor. I don't think there was even salt in it. A quick "how to make Mexican rice" on google would benefit this restaurant majorly. The "refried beans" had to taste like what I'd think puréed dog bile would taste like. I'll just leave it at that. The waitress was nice and I didn't want to ask for a refund but I took 3 bites and waited for the tab. The waitress also broke down what pico was and warned me that their enchilada sauce was really spicy. When I told her I'm from Texas she understood. I know things are a bit different up there but I pray for the people eating this "Mexican" food and loving it. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It was that bad. This food was so bad that I now feel like a Karen for going online and writing a bad review but it truly was that bad. I have never in my life written a negative (or positive really, for that matter) review on anything, but this place deserves it. This is by far and away the worst restaurant I've ever been to and probably will ever be to. Something has to change. The staff was nice and the service was fast enough but I wouldn't serve this food to my mother if she was dying of starvation. read more

Was finally able to try this place after it being open for awhile. It did not disappoint. Right off the bat we were greeted by a very friendly bartender and the drinks were great. We were seated a few minutes later with fast service. I was a little skeptical to order Mexican food here but it ended up being amazing. I will definitely come back soon. read more
