The hamburgers are exactly what you want in a drive-in burger: thin, perfectly cooked patty, not too messy to ruin your car, just great. The onion rings are also out of this world. We got a nice smattering of options: cheesesteak, cheeseburger, fried green beans, onion rings, and pickle O's. Our favs were the cheesesteak, onion rings, and green beans. The cheeseburger, honestly, was also very good. The pickles were batter-heavy, so you don't taste much pickle. Overall a great pit stop for our trip to Sacred Pines.

We were seated at the time of our reservation and our incredibly kind waitress, Kaycie, greeted us with smiles and recommendations. Hubby and I got un-sweet iced teas. Brewed well and Kaycie never let them get empty. Kids all ordered burgers (cheeseburger, hamburger and meat pattie, with fries). They all enjoyed their burgers, commenting on how well they were seasoned. Hubby and I stole a few fries and they were yummy! Hubby got a Rib Eye with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The meat was tasty, cooked & seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were good too. The broccolini is cooked in chili flakes and was so tasty! I chose the 1/2 order of the BBQ Loaded Nachos with no cheese (dairy free). They were delicious! I just about licked the plate clean! The brisket was cooked to perfection and the bbq was just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The toppings were delicious and the side of guac was so fresh and tasty! Kaycie was so kind and really made our first visit to Abendigo's a winner. The decor was fun to look at while the dining room and bathrooms were so clean.
