This is a friedly little diner / drive through spot with a good mix of standard comfort foods. We were driving across AK and dropped in for lunch in this small town and enjoyed it. Visited one of my friends from out of state, i was CRAVING some fried fish as i'm pregnant, she told me Judys has AMAZING fish. so we went there. Upon walking in the lady working the "counter" gave us nasty looks as she was outside smoking a cigarette in the "outdoor dining area" took about 5 minutes to come in and take our order. I ordered my fish and went home to eat. Upon driving 3 minutes back to the house i opened the bag to find my "take out" container melted. I didn't even want to eat the food i had just paid for due to the melted Styrofoam. In addition to the terrible service, my tater tots were so crispy even the dogs didn't want them i would have rather gone to mcdonald's and eaten whatever fish they would have served me in a fish sandwich & dealt with the stomach ache. do better. read more

Cute diner with ample food to leave you full and holding a takeout container stuffed with tomorrow's lunch (one order could feed a couple). We both got the fish special. The fish was lightly breaded, flakey, and had a slight peppery infusion to the crust giving the fish the perfect flavoring. The coleslaw came a little liquidy but overall was good. There were a couple flavorful hush puppies and standard cut fries included. The side of onion rings came hot from the fryer and were also lightly breaded. A few minutes after the rings cooled down, they felt greesey and a bit soggy inside. Sweet tea was sweeeeeeet. Judy? was a great host and made sure we had everything and kept the glasses filled. I came here for lunch and had the bru burger, it was SO good!! We had sweet tea and split the large fries every thing was great! We heard the chicken fried steak was the best so we came back for dinner.. It's delicious!!! We split it and it was a lot to eat!! We found Judy's as we were driving through Arkansas from Nebraska. Upon entering the service is friendly and full of y'all's and huns. The bathroom wasn't as welcoming as the staff but the food made it well worth the creepy restroom. The Bru burger was the best burger I have ever had. We were traveling through one summer Sunday afternoon and decided to call ahead for cheeseburgers and sides. We had no idea what we would be getting, but were immediately charmed by this quaint little roadside drive in with a cute covered deck. The thing about this place is the pretty little lady running between clearing tables, filling orders, taking orders over the phone and in person, all while mixing handmade shakes and ringing up customers with one of the most sincere beautiful smiles you'll ever see. I swear it was mesmerizing just to sit and watch her work. Like something straight out of Mayberry back in a simpler and happy time. I'm not sure who that young lady is, but I do know her very proud grandpa was sitting on the deck enjoying his lunch and his granddaughter. Oh.. and did I mention the food was FANTASTIC?! Great food, great service, friendly people. Depending on the cook sometimes the food is greasy but it's always very good. For breakfast we have eaten the biscuits and the biscuits and gravy. My husband had a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese on toast). He thought it was great. For lunch/super we have had the burgers, onion rings, chive fries, and chicken fried steak. Good food at great prices. The quality does depend on the cook however. Usually my order is accurate and speedily delivered. The hostess Brauna is the best at what she does. She is always quick with a refill or a suggestion about what to get. My personal favorite is the Bru burger. A thick burger with swiss cheese mushrooms and sauteed onions and all the extras you could possibly want. Everything on the menu can be customized to suit your tastes. And the prices are reasonable. Me and my family usually leave full and satisfied and usually for less than $10 per person. The sweet tea is especially refreshing. They also provide an outdoor smoking area where service is always provided during the summer it is kept cool with ceiling fans and during winter time a wood stove keeps the outside are nice and warm. I usually eat here at least twice a month sometimes more. The chicken fried steak dinner is especially note worthy as I have never completely finished it. The chicken fried steak covers the plate and the sides are always delicious. The sawmill gravy is made fresh to order and never sits more than a few minutes. The taco salad is wonderful too. The perfect blend of meat, cheese, and vegetables. Served with hot sauce, picante sauce, sour cream, or a combination of them I would recommend this for anyone who loves a good meal for a good price. read more

So we normally don't eat out and normally travel with are RV so there is not normally a reason for us to stop for the night but we looked at places to eat and this facility is old but the staff is really friendly. It is were all the old timer and locals gather to eat food is very good and you can't beat the prices and friendly staff. I defiantly would go again. Great dinner experience. read more

Easy to find on the north part of town, on 71B. Drive through town, and Judy's will be on the left hand side, just after you pass the fairgrounds sign. Small, older drive-in, Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week! Large variety on menu. You'll find something for everyone at Judy's. Daily specials, burgers to breaded steak sandwiches to taco salads to fried catfish dinners with all the trimmings on Friday night, and lots more. Yum! Yum! Eat-in, Outside, or Drive-thru. This is NOT fast food but Cooked to Order foods. Amber, is a wonderful friendly and fast server too:) Great food and service, just the way you order it. And you can smoke there too...out on the covered front porch:) Fans included. A great place to get a fresh hot cup of coffee, and a smoke, to wake up & start your day:) This little place is hopping on Friday and Saturday nights but is open until 10:00pm:) Best little place in town! Oh yeah, need to get back onto 71N? Make a left turn out of the parking lot of Judy's and you run right into it:) 71S make a right out of the parking lot and you run right into it. Easy off and back on, no problem. Some suggestion for improvements? Could use a delivery service, for those of us living and working, inside city limits:) Having a delivery service would help with the high traffic volume at Judy's, would keep everything running smoothly there at Judy's, still feed the masses at home or at work, and increase notoriety and profits. And a couple of retro style billboard signs out on 71, on both ends of town, would be great too. It would be nice for customers who choose to eat there, to listen to piped music, while waiting for their order. Music would also be great for employees too, to keep a pep in their step. Retro music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, of pop, rock, and country. Lastly, if room ever becomes available, expand parking to include covered parking spaces with order boards, in a U-shape, surrounding the outskirts of Judy's building and property line or opposite of the current parking, while keeping the current parking and drive-thru, as is. The entire family loves the food at Judy's. I rarely want to eat burgers but I love, love, love the burgers here. The service is not fast but if you call ahead you won't have to wait if that's important to you. It is locally owned and the customers are mostly local. Their chili is great and their salad dressings are homemade. I hate bottled dressings. Everything we have got was exactly as we ordered it.
