The food is ok, sometimes the servers a little rude, but sometimes they are pretty nice. Very homey.

The menu is full of all sorts of choices, there's definitely something for everyone! The tables are nice and spread out so you're not dining on top of each other and the decor is light and easy, nothing too over the top or cluttered. The food was superb!! We both opted for the BBQ, hubby had the sampler platter and I had the ribs. The side choices were also endless, too many to count! The ribs were fall off the bone, smokey deliciousness, the brisket was perfectly rendered and seasoned, the pulled pork was tender and juicy and the sausage was nice and smokey. What stole the entire show was the tortilla chips that came with the corn dip. Now, the corn dip was wonderful but those thin, crispy warm chips were exactly what chips should always be like! I opted for left over ribs so I could finish off the corn dip and chips!! Excellent restaurant and will definitely return if ever in the area again!

It's the kind of place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The true highlight, however, was the food. It was simply amazing. We indulged in the burgers, and they were exactly what you hope for: juicy, flavorful, and incredibly tender. The same can be said for the brisket, which was equally tender and delicious. The battered fries were fantastic--nice and crispy on the outside. The excellent experience was rounded out by the outstanding service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. She took the time to offer the daily specials right away and made sure to keep checking on us without being intrusive. Her attention truly elevated the entire lunch. IThe Dig is the place to go.

This isn't the same Dari-Delite I reviewed four years ago…read more As a kid I remember looking forward to stopping in after church on Sunday afternoon or a Wednesday night. Me and my buddies gathered around the yellow-lit booths eating hamburgers and stealing fries from one another; Dari-D was the place to be. But, by the time I had children of my own that feeling had long disappeared; the atmosphere was no longer inviting and it became a burden to even order a basic burger and fries combo. Needless to say, the tides have turned. The place has done a complete 180° over the last few years: new ownership and management have restored this local watering hole to the dairy dip glory of my youth. The updated staff, still a somewhat constant rotation of local teens, seem to be vetted better than before and ever since our local Pizza Hut has shut down the nicest kids in town flock to work at Dari-D. Sure, it still takes a while to receive an order other than a drink, but considering it's all made to order and served hot off the grill, the wait is worth it. No hot lamps here, you can expect mouth watering, classic diner food dripping in the southern Americana nostalgia every blue state resident grew up loving and eating after church or a ballgame. The menu varies from hamburgers and hot dogs to catfish, fried shrimp, dinner salads, and even a "pizza burger". If you haven't had one, go now!! After you wash all that down with an ice cold cola, be sure to order desert. Soft-serve is the standard, but I'd recommend a sundae over a cone or if you're feeling real fancy treat yourself to the most delicious parfait this side of the Arkansas river. All in all, if you're fond of finding those special little "hole in the wall" joints that make you feel like you got let in on a local secret, this is the place to go. I'm leaving my old review up just to show how far this place has come in the last four years. Thanks, Dari-D, for bringing back a place I can bring my kids to enjoy the same food and dining experience I remember so fondly from my childhood.
