I recently visited this Savers and found tons of great stuff. Many flippers seem frustrated by the…read morerising prices, as it's cutting into their profit margins and allowing Savers to retain more of the value instead of them. As a former flipper, I say good for Savers and the outreach they do in the community. I still found the prices to be a good deal overall. As with any thrifting adventure, it just takes a little extra effort to inspect each item carefully and discover a hidden gem. The thrill of finding a treasure remains, and it's still worth the hunt if you are going for personal use. I found top brands for reasonable prices (Patagonia long sleeved shirt with tags for $10.99, Ecko sweatshirt from Nordstrom Rack with tags for $8.99, etc.) I found a Lord of the Rings tee, Stephen King Pet Cemetery tee, Betsey Johnson long-sleeve, and several cool band concert shirts for less than $8 apiece. This location and the surrounding Savers within an hour radius are fantastic hunting grounds for the casual treasure hunter.

That's $90 for a pair of lamps. I saw a piece of art work behind their counter that was priced at 99.99. A chipped piece of pottery for $13.00. Old craft books for 6.49. I am completely disenchanted. Raised prices are inevitable- gouging people who depend on thrift store prices is disgusting.

I bet this was formerly a grocery store, meaning the interior is not giant, but they have a good mix of things. Upon first walking in, if you head to the very left of the store, you will find the cheapest stuff, some of it overstock, or more likely, expired or nearly so grocery items. A few examples: $0.25 gum or candy bars, $0.50 chips and other snacks, $1.00 cookies, nut butters, etc. Most of that is full of preservatives so you are probably safe if planning to consume right away. I nabbed a ton of gum, because what can even go bad in that, but follow your best judgment! Heading to the right from here, you will come across the standard grocery items, and many were the same price as a regular store, though still worth a look, as you never know what you'll come across. Bulk bags of flours, powdered milk and rice lie on pallets up front. Home goods live in the center, and there were some real surprises here: Instant Pots, Le Creuset stoneware sets, Keurig coffee makers, etc. Some of it is damaged or missing parts, so, like everything else in the store, do your due diligence and check it out, but there is a possibility for some real finds! Following that was some office/school supplies, baby items, toys, and finally clothing. The latter seemed to be poorer quality/no-brand as compared to the rest of the store, but it is still incredibly cheap if that is what you are looking for. They post specials on their Facebook page, so give them a follow if you live in the area.

I brought my children to the shop with me and the owner gave them candy and she has a little table set up for kids. This was really a bonus because I have no choice but to take my children everywhere with me and I appreciate businesses who understand this and accommodate me. Overall, I would say that there isn't a large selection of fabric that suits my particular taste but they do have a lot of fabric to choose from. The cannery center is a hidden treasure. I stopped in to Great Harvest to get a sandwich and while it was being prepared i wandered into the store. I was surprised to see the large selection of home decor that they had. everything was Priced modestly and the whole atmosphere was comforting and the employees were friendly and happy to help. after i finished my sandwich i found that they carried furniture too. I ended up getting a screaming deal on an entertainment center for my freshly remodeled basement! :) in conclusion it is a great store. i am sure that i will be coming back around to pick up more decor for my new rooms! read more
