Needing gifts for a very discerning new mother, I searched far and wide for a baby boutique in or around the salt lake valley. For as many babies as Utahns tend to have, you'd think there'd be baby boutiques on every corner. There aren't, but thankfully I found Over the Moon in Bountiful. Filled with high quality (high price tag) clothes, toys, and accessories, I knew I'd find things she'd approve of. Being European, she wasn't going to be excited about the US's fast fashions for babies. I needed to hit a home run and a home run I hit. Thanks to Over the Moon. Very classic styles. Very well made. I brought my little granddaughter into Over the Moon Tonight November 6 2025 to look at the Maileg Mice etc. She was thrilled until the store clerk came up and ripped a basket of stuffies out of her hands and scolded all of us. It was then my granddaughter began to cry and throw a tantrum. No people skills there! A little reasoning with a child would have gone a long way to curb the situation. Belittling parent and grandparent was not well received as well. You have lost a customer who can afford your exorbitant prices. I appreciate quality but kindness and courtesy are more important. I can always find another store to get quality items. Since I am unable to respond any other way. I'll just add here after reading your lengthy response that you totally missed my point. A situation that could have been handled in a kind way resulted in the loss of a customer as you won't take any responsibility for how badly your staff handled things, and now you as well!!! read more

Perfect place for this Nana to find things for grandkids. They have books, toys, clothes and shoes from newborn to preschool, nursery decor, etc. Items are unique and high quality, so worth paying a little more. They have frequent sales. Friendly owner and employees. read more

Wish they had more European designer baby clothes and socks. Please get some European brands and "condor" socks that are hard to find in the U.S. I want something I can't just buy on Amazon. read more

I've seen this store while shopping at another store close by and always wanted to stop in. I finally did. It had cute elements but the lady working wasn't the friendliest, not to mention she was on the phone most the time. I was looking for a baby shower gift. I guess if you were in a hurry you could find something, but with Amazon having much better prices I'm not sure why you'd come here? You don't need to put up with attitudes, search for parking and can guarantee a better price. It's sad, I always try to support small businesses but I couldn't find a reason this time. I'm always on the hunt for cute little boutiques to find unique gifts. I'll continue searching, less than impressed read more

I was introduced to Over The Moon by my mother, who also shops next door at Touché, owned by the same. I love the European flair and unique baby offerings available at this cute store. I also love how friendly the owner, Tammy, and her family and staff are. The bamboo pajamas are to die for and I am a fan of the Mayoral line from Spain that she carries. Love this store! I called Over the Moon when I needed to purchase 2 new-baby gifts for friends. I had been to there in person a few years ago but, I live out of the area. The associate was really helpful and asked a few questions about each baby (current age, parent's style, etc.). I told her what I had in mind, a practical, cute gift w/a book. I gave her my budget and she kept each gift within that amount. They wrapped and shipped each gift for me. This was a huge bonus because it saved me trip to post office. I received photos of each gift and what she'd selected was perfect! A couple days later, I received thank you texts. One of the moms sent a photo of the newborn swaddled in the blanket. This was the easiest way to shop & send a unique gift while supporting a local business! I'll definitely do this again in the future. read more

We stopped in to purchase a last minute gift for my aunt's gender reveal party. Nancy greeted us quickly and was super friendly and helpful! Even though we had very limited time and the selection was so vast with so many unique and cute options she helped us to quickly narrow down some fun options. Knowing we had very limited time she was super quick to get us checked out and even gift wrapped our purchase for us. We would definitely recommend and will be returning ourselves soon!
