I was a little hesitant to come here, because there are a couple of Yelp reviews saying that the…read morestaff can be rude. However, that was not my experience at all! I was greeted at the door by the bestest boy/doggo named Teddy and someone who I assumed was one of the owners. The shop is very cute, lots of gnomes, rubber ducks, and fun quotes showcasing the owners' sense of humor. The owner was actually very helpful and gave me tips on how to best enjoy my baked goods. I got ten items for a very reasonable price! Sweet roll: one of their popular items. A roll with warm sugar and cinnamon on the inside and gooey frosting on top, but I can see why they don't advertise it as a cinnamon roll. It doesn't smack you in the face with that cinnamon flavor, but has all the other good parts of the roll. Blueberry muffin: not too sweet and chock full of blueberries and streusel topping! Turnovers: I wasn't a fan of the icing sugar topping, but the puff pastry was light and flaky. I'm sure if I was home and was able to pop it in the oven it would have been amazing! Cupcakes: this was a surprising gem for me. I generally find cupcakes and their frosting to be too sweet, but the actual cake was light on the sugar and balanced well with the buttercream. The cake felt a little dry, but my cupcake was chocolate flavored and sometimes that has an innate dryness to it. I looked online, and they actually have a crazy amount of cool flavors! I would love to come back to try more flavors. All in all, a very pleasant experience, if you're in Corfu you should definitely stop by :)

As soon as we walked in the door it smelled like heaven and we were greeted right away. Between the two of us, we ended up ordering an iced latte, a molasses cookie, a peanut butter brownie and a chocolate almond pretzel pastry. The iced latte had a goodix of milk and espresso. The molasses cookie was perfectly soft yet chewy and had a great molasses flavor along with ginger and cinnamon. The peanut butter brownie was chewy and had a good amount of peanut butter buttercream frosting topping it. I ate the chocolate almond pretzel pastry at a later time and heated it in the air fryer for a few minutes. It was flaky, buttery and flavorful. I would definitely recommend Buttercrumbs & will return if I'm in the area.

Service is good, but I was let down…read more Each of my sons had chocolate chip cookies. For $1.75, I expect either a larger cookie or more of them. These were just medium sized cookies. My sons enjoyed them, but I wouldn't buy them again. I had a grasshopper pie. $4.75 seemed like a much more reasonable price relative to the cookies, but the pie itself was very bland. I could taste the barest hint of mint, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the filling was. It had a very empty, artificial quality to it. My sons finished it, and enjoyed it. Maybe it was an off day since all my friends seem to love them, but I was not impressed.

I looked over their menu and at first glance decided that I couldn't possibly allow myself anything on it. All these cakes, chocolates, ice cream (they use Sweet Jenny's from Williamsville) -- no way would they be good for me! I already engulfed like a pound of Thai food for God's sake! Low and behold, my eye spots the word "healthy" on their menu. Eureka! Dare I read closer? "Supernatural Brownie." Is it supernatural because it's healthy? That must be it! Made with something like 87% Dark Chocolate (with healthy antioxidants), this brownie must be the healthiest dessert in all of mankind. I must order it! So I did, along with a cup of coffee (it was the only truck serving warm coffee). Verdict? Each bite was indeed a supernatural explosion of sweet flavors, dopamine and euphoria flooding my brain. I gave a friend a bite and she was equally amazed and commented that "she could taste the butter." Wait. Hold on. This isn't healthy, is it? Damn. I thought..maybe it was? Well, it is. It's healthy for the soul. That's it. Yes. 5 stars for the dessert. 3 stars for the coffee. I'd love to see some Stumptown or artisan-roasted coffee brewed here with a lot of love. Then again, we do have a truck for that (Rolling Joe's).
