I was greeted at the door by the bestest boy/doggo named Teddy and someone who I assumed was one of the owners. The shop is very cute, lots of gnomes, rubber ducks, and fun quotes showcasing the owners' sense of humor. The owner was actually very helpful and gave me tips on how to best enjoy my baked goods. I got ten items for a very reasonable price! Sweet roll: one of their popular items. A roll with warm sugar and cinnamon on the inside and gooey frosting on top, but I can see why they don't advertise it as a cinnamon roll. It doesn't smack you in the face with that cinnamon flavor, but has all the other good parts of the roll. Blueberry muffin: not too sweet and chock full of blueberries and streusel topping! Turnovers: I wasn't a fan of the icing sugar topping, but the puff pastry was light and flaky. I'm sure if I was home and was able to pop it in the oven it would have been amazing! Cupcakes: this was a surprising gem for me. I generally find cupcakes and their frosting to be too sweet, but the actual cake was light on the sugar and balanced well with the buttercream. The cake felt a little dry, but my cupcake was chocolate flavored and sometimes that has an innate dryness to it. I looked online, and they actually have a crazy amount of cool flavors! I would love to come back to try more flavors. All in all, a very pleasant experience, if you're in Corfu you should definitely stop by :)

But more importantly, let's get to the taste. I am not a big sweets fan, but this cake was phenomenal. We had a vanilla cake with the buttercream frosting that everyone loved. The process was so simple and easy for ordering and pick up. Corrie gave us the idea for the cake and we were able to pay through venmo. Then we picked it up the day before the party and everything went smooth. We will get all of our cakes from Morning Sunrise for our upcoming events!

Made with something like 87% Dark Chocolate (with healthy antioxidants), this brownie must be the healthiest dessert in all of mankind. I must order it! So I did, along with a cup of coffee (it was the only truck serving warm coffee). Verdict? Each bite was indeed a supernatural explosion of sweet flavors, dopamine and euphoria flooding my brain. I gave a friend a bite and she was equally amazed and commented that "she could taste the butter." Wait. Hold on. This isn't healthy, is it? Damn. I thought..maybe it was? Well, it is. The coffee is excellent, but the key differentiator here is "Bakeshop", as Timmy's makes ALL their food products in each location, e.g., doughnuts, bagels, sandwiches, wraps, etc. Unlike the competing chains, Timmy's food items aren't made then frozen in a NJ factory, & anyone can instantly tell the difference! I've been to countless locations across upstate NY & across the northern Midwest, and this Pembroke, NY cafe is as consistently quaint/cozy as the rest. Our group tried a good variety of menu items and enjoyed them all - see pics. Good value & service as always. PS. Kudos to counter employee who noticed me pondering the baked goods display case on which doughnut to buy for my Dad.
