Their pastries evoke memories of my maternal aunt, baking coconut tarts and guava jelly rolls on Saturday morning in her Bronx house (Soundview) throughout my childhood in the 1970s. Their fruit cake slices remind me of those baked by my paternal aunt in London, England--moist, flavorful and topped with icing. Some customers in the store were raving about Patmar's meatloaf patties. I must come back and try one. All goods are reasonably priced, and everything comes out quick. The store is reasonably clean, and customer service is top notch.
