We were in the area and decided to check out this spot as it looked cool and some of the dessert concoctions looked awesome. The shop was nicely decorated, inviting, and had friendly staff. The staff was helpful in getting our tasty as it was our first time here. From their specialty soft-serve ice cream concoctions (eclectic looking sundaes), we ordered a Cloud 9 made with Lavender Honey soft-serve and a Uh Oh Oreo w/ vegan Coconut soft-serve (see my photos). The Cloud 9 came with a cotton candy top and it looked so Instagram perfect. It was delicious. I really liked the Lavender Honey soft-serve. The Oreo one was okay as the vegan Coconut soft-serve was icy and not quite my cup of tea. This shop is a cool, cute, and awesome sweet treats spot that should be on your list to check out if you enjoy desserts.

It was quite dark, somewhat dingy, and could have been cleaner. For a bakery where you're encouraged to sit and enjoy your food, the atmosphere really could use some attention. Overall, the staff were nice and the food was good, but at these prices, I expected more from both the baked goods and the overall experience. The employees had really no clue, well the ones I dealt with at least. So after all is said and done, nothing too spectacular, in fact quite disappointing. My suggestion is to walk over to Jewel Osco and their ice cream aisle, and pick out a favorite flavor or brand, you will have plenty of ice cream, a better price, and less frustration. The garlic cheese curds were the highlight of the meal, we enjoyed them so much that we ended up ordering a second round. The wings were decent, but the menu described them as smoked, and I honestly couldn't detect any smoky flavor or aroma. My biggest complaint was the service. The waiter took our food and drink orders at the same time, but the drinks arrived much later than expected. In fact, we had already finished our appetizers by the time the beer was served. Since we visited around 2-3 PM and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, the delay was disappointing. Overall, the food was enjoyable, especially the garlic cheese curds. If I return, I'll probably order my drinks first and place my food order afterward to avoid the wait.
