This place is actually surprisingly pretty good! Ambiance is a diner vibe and the service is very quick and kind! The food was actually great especially after a day of swimming and gambling their brookie so delicious i would highly reccomend it along with the loaded tots with steak!

3.5 stars This Harrah's casino is really lacking in dining options. The Café is a tier above the fast casual offerings and is way more affordable than Hell's Kitchen. Honestly, it gives diner vibes. Though they do offer a myriad of menu items, we stuck with pretty basic things: -chicken fingers ($16): golden fried chicken tenders with dipping sauce -turkey club ($20): roasted turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo + your choice of cheese Honestly, everything was pretty solid. They also use beer battered fries which I really like. Overall, both entrees tasted like room service in the best way possible. Good, but not great and a little relieved that it's not overpriced.

The café at Harrah's Resort & Casino in Funner, CA is clean, nicely decorated, and has a welcoming vibe at first glance. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the setting. Service was good, but definitely not great. Our server was polite but came by at least three separate times to ask if we were ready to order while we were still reading the menu which made us feel rushed. Then, once our food arrived I don't think we saw her again until she dropped off the check. It felt like we were being hurried along without much attention afterward. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich ($20), which was a letdown. The chicken was slightly burnt on one side and really burnt on the other side (the thin side) and tasted overcooked. The "hot honey" seemed to be a mix of Sriracha and honey, which didn't have much flavor beyond heat. They also added a green chili aioli, which I would normally be excited about, but it just didn't pair well with the rest of the sandwich and there was too much slathered on. My friend got the steak sandwich and said it was good, while another friend ordered a burger and added mushrooms, which cost an extra $5, bringing her burger to a jaw dropping $25! She said it was just okay, not worth the price tag by any means. All in all, the café is a decent place to grab a bite if you're already at Harrah's and don't want to leave the property. But if you have any other dining options available, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Overall a disappointment.

Fish & chips... and shrimp!

Yes, the food here is expensive but Caesars rewards members can use rewards credits to pay. Service was great, as the employees were nice & attentive. The cafe was not busy at all on a Sunday night. We were immediately seated in a booth, and our meals arrived shortly after ordering. My son had bolognese pasta, hubby had the frisco burger (which I had a bite of, and was delicious!) and I opted for the fish and chips and shrimp. It was all freshly fried without being overly greasy. Our meals were tasty, portioned perfectly, and definitely hit the spot after an afternoon at the pool.

Me and my wife come here a lot before but I didn't get the chance to review the place. As far as i can remember, their food for me was just average, from the taste, the preparation and the service. Kinda more like an ihop and denny's type of food. So we stopped coming here for years. A couple of weeks ago, we got a chance to stay in harrahs again for 2 nights,, one morning we decided to come here again and have some good 'ol american breakfast. We had the avocado toast with sausage and the berry explosion french toast. We loved it! Portions are really big. The staff are really friendly here and the place is really clean.

Harrahs if you read these please look into this. The service is terrible and the quality of food I has really gone down

Hungry from gambling or being at the pool? This cafe is located inside the Harrahs SoCal resort. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. You have a lot of choices for you to sit down and enjoy. Prices are a bit expensive, so make sure you sign up for awards card to get a discount or use your casino points. There is no kids menu, but there is plenty of stuff to enjoy. it's not the greatest food here at the resort, but it will do. The staff is amazing. Nice casual sit down restaurant.

I love eating here at the café whenever I'm around. My usual go-tos are the chicken wings, clam chowder (only servedon friday), and steak sandwich. I always get the wings naked with mango habanero sauce on the side 10/10! My friend always gets the shrimp pasta, and I have to say, they cook their pasta perfectly.. not too soft, nice and firm. Oooh, and their fries are also really good! Service is always great too. Just a heads-up.. if you order to-go, there's an extra $5 charge.

We visited The Cafe on Saturday night for dinner and had a pretty decent experience. We tried the California Chicken Cobb Salad, Pancake Tacos, and the Prime Rib Omelette. The food and service were both good overall, but I was caught off guard when I was charged an extra $4 for adding more lettuce to my salad. I was halfway through and realized I only had the toppings left, so I asked for more lettuce. The Pancake Tacos were good (pancakes folded in half with bacon, eggs, and cheese). The Prime Rib Omelette was okay, but it was a little too salty for my taste. Also, I prefer cheese inside the omelette, rather than slice of cheese on top, but that's just a personal preference. Overall, not a bad meal, but a few little things made it less memorable. Yelp ya later!

Saturday, 1-04-2025: We had dessert here after the magic show. Thankfully, there were no lines like earlier! Our beautiful server, Rattana, was very sweet & provided great customer service with a smile! We ordered coffee and cheesecake. Hubby ordered his plain while I opted for chocolate sauce. Both slices were huge and satisfying! The coffee was excellent, too. Love the subdued lighting here, which made the experience relaxing & leisurely unlike earlier with the long line and long wait times. It's a nice cafe with good food & exceptional customer service.

My boyfriend and I have eatin breakfast here in the past, but we rarely visit the casino before 2pm. Yesterday (Friday), I decided to take my mom on a little drive and thought "why not brunch at the casino!?". We arrived at 10:15am, and there were many parking spots available in their parking structure - from the second floor on up. We walked through the casino all the way to the back right (near the hotel), and there was a party of two already checking in at the host station. Check-in was a fast process, they asked for my name and if I was staying at the property. We were ushered into the restaurant and told to wait to the side for a hostess to seat us. I saw it was busy, but not completely full. They still had quite a few open tables available, and we were seated quickly after about 5min. of waiting. The lady who had seated us was wonderful, and very nice. She took our drink order (2 coffees) and brought over 2 cups as well as a saucer full of hazelnut creamer packs. Our waitress visited our table shortly after introducing herself. Her name was Celine, and she was a ray of light! Very sweet and attentive. She quickly poured our coffee and brought 2 muffins to the table. These are complimentary muffins, and let me tell you... they are DELICIOUS. They have a walk up bakery right next to the café, and every single thing i've purchased from them has been top notch. The muffins also come with homemade whipped butter which compliment the flavors perfectly. Celine gave us a few minutes to look at the menu and came back to take our orders. My mom and I both ordered the triple decker turkey club sandwich. One with parmesan fries and the other with fried onion petals. Now, after this, my mom had an OOPSIE and spilled her water cup all over the table. Of course she was embarrassed and panic just engulfed us...Without asking, a worker by the name of Javier appeared at our side to help. Of course it was embarrassing...but he was so kind about it and made my mom feel better. He got more napkins and then held out his serving tray telling us to just push the ice onto that and he will take care of it. He literally stepped into action...where I feel others would just walked by at other places until you ask or make eye contact with panic. Javier, thank you so much, you are a sweetheart and theyre lucky to have you. After that whole excitement, our food quickly came out. It looked delicious...and I have had onion rings but never fried onion petals! I LOVED THESE!! They are so much better than traditional onion rings. The turkey club was loved by both of us, and the parmesan fries were great. Celine checked in on us regularly and refilled our coffees along with that. It definitely was a great brunch that we had, and we were lucky to have had the service from Celine and Javier on our visit. I will DEFINITELY be back! and recommend you take a nice drive one day to try it out.

Au jus was perfect and the horseradish (I opted for the creamy kind) was the cherry on top. I was fortunate enough to try a couple bites of their cinnamon roll and if you like cinnamon rolls, theirs tops Cinnabon! Service is efficient, friendly, and no nonsense. Definitely order the biscuits and gravy if you like them, it's delicious here. Five stars on the scale of American diners.

One of our favorite places to eat. Actually, all the restaurants at Valley View are fantastic…read more Great food options that are typically well served and tasty. We do however have our preferred or favorite servers, food runners and hosts. We prefer and LOVE Monica. Her energy, intelligence, and smile are top notch. Andres a food runner has been there a long time who also has a great personality, and one of the few runners who actually remembers to bring you a requested item. These individuals we've known a long time, and believe they would be better suited as trainers, supervisors or even management. I'd include Tomas in our Patties favorites, but he was moved to Black and Blue Steak House. Another favorite restaurant at Valley View. We're also fans of Michael, and a few others I can't remember their names at the moment, especially an extremely likable, smaller statured food runner who was made a server a few months ago. Having been in management in the plumbing industry I know how important training in one's daily tasks and people skills is to a quality business like Valley View Casino, the only casino we frequent. Unfortunately, bad experiences happen even in the best of establishments. Last night at Patties we had a new server who seemed so serious, barely a smile. Which is fine. I don't mind that so much. Definitely not enduring or memorable though. She did her job well, and even checked to make sure our food tastes good, and if we had all we needed. My main issue came when we got our bill, and I asked her to adjust the tip. I realize how cheap that sounds, but let me continue. When we first were ordering we mentioned we had a lot of food we wanted to take home. It was the end of the month, and we had over a hundred dollars worth of food vouchers we needed to use up. We normally don't have any left over. She excitedly, almost smiling encouraged us to order our takeout right away with her, "otherwise we would have a long wait, if we didn't put our order in right away." We spent just under $60.00 for our sit down meal. Our normal 20% would've been $12.00 on the $60.00. Our to go order was just under $100.00, which I felt definitely deserved a tip, but not the 20% suggested gratuity that the bill included. Maybe we were being cheap. I don't know. The obvious anger on her face when I asked her to adjust the tip was palpable. I asked her to adjust the $32.00, "Suggested Gratuity," to $20.00, which I would've been grateful for the years of being a food server in college. She got 20% for our dining in, and about 10% for our to go order. Not so cheap after all. When she returned with the revised bill, she was so mad she could barely talk. Poor thing. Felt kind of bad for her. She muttered a couple of times I could barely hear her, but kept asking what she said. The third time she said clearer that we shouldn't order to go food with her, that we should go to the to go window next time. She should've been happy for the 20% on the meal, and 10% on the to go order. It all adds up over the shift. We definitely will avoid her at all costs. Next time we'll request our favorites.

3 stars (or whatever fits your vibe--solid but not standout)…read more Honestly, I probably wouldn't drive all the way out here just to eat at Patties & Pints. It's tucked inside Valley View Casino, about 45 minutes north of central San Diego, so unless you're already gambling, staying overnight, or in the area, it's not a destination spot. There are plenty of better standalone burger joints or pubs closer to home. That said, the food is good--nothing mind-blowing or worth raving about, but reliably solid for casino pub fare. We went with burgers from their signature all-beef blend, and they hit the spot without any major complaints. The deep-dish pizzas, wings, fries, and other apps seem consistent based on what I've seen around. Portions are decent, and it's satisfying if you're craving something hearty with a beer. Our server, Marcus, was decent too--just did his job without going above and beyond. Attentive enough, no issues, but nothing exceptional either. One thing that really bugged me: they automatically add a tip (auto-gratuity) even for a two-person table. That's ridiculous in my book. It feels like it removes any incentive for better service and just assumes mediocrity is fine. For small parties in a casual spot like this, it comes off as greedy. The place itself is clean and well-organized, which is a nice change from some casino spots. But it's pretty small for a casino restaurant, so it can feel cramped. Seating/waiting is poorly managed--wait times drag on, and the system for calling names or seating people isn't smooth at all. Bottom line: If you're already at Valley View Casino, hungry, and don't feel like dealing with the buffet line (or want something quicker and more casual with beers and TVs for games), Patties & Pints is a fine option. It's convenient in that context. Otherwise, skip the drive--it's just average casino eats. Good luck, and hope the slots are kinder than the auto-tip policy!

Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this.
