Irish coffee

Tasty food with drink options. Tried the blt and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. If you're going with a big group I'd call to possibly make a reservation. We had to make one for a group of 6. The food came out fresh and hot.

I studied abroad in Limerick and the buttery was my FAVORITE place to go. When my friends and I were in Ireland for the weekend we would always go! I loved the avocado toast. The interior is also beautiful!! Such a instagramable spot! Would definitely recommend!

From top clockwise, burrito, smashed avo with poached eggs and the monkey fingers.

Or many places pop up in yelp for brunch in Limerick. Our goal was to avoid a pub as late in our journey, need a bit of variety on the menu. So Buttery fit the bill this AM. Had the burrito with chorizo which was great as well as the smashed avo with poached eggs. Also good. Had to try the monkey fingers with gravy but also added some maple syrup which kicked it up a notch.

This is a really aesthetically cute brunch spot that was worth a stop. They have a pretty big menu, and their desserts were amazing. Unfortunately I came late in the day so couldn't try any of their main food type dishes, but did have a latte and and cinnamon roll at the rec of the waitress. The latte was good, but the cinnamon roll was for lack of a better word underwhelming. Really dry, not so much cinnamon, and mostly frosting. Would be curious to try their main food on another visit if ever in the area.

This was stop 1 as we landed in Limerick. The whole atmosphere was so cute. I ordered the full veggie Irish. Husband ordered the full Irish. Both were tasty and filling. Vegetarian options were clearly marked. A must try if you are in the area.

Amazing! We are staying in limerick for a couple days and while there's not much here we wanted to do, I'm so glad we found this restaurant! This has been one of the best breakfasts we've had in Ireland! I got the eggs Royale, my husband had The Full, and both of us completely cleaned our plates. The portions are great, The food was delicious, the decor is really nice and was walking distance from our hotel (about 15 mins). Service is good, people are friendly. We plan on coming back for breakfast tomorrow.

Ok this is THE place for breakfast. I'd come here any time of the day, the lunch/dinner menus have plenty of delicious dishes to offer but I love it best for breakfast. On my last visit I ordered Eggs Royale. The eggs were perfection. The hollandaise was rich but not too rich. They didn't skip on the salmon either. My one tiny issue is that it was served on half a bagel. I'd rather pay more for a full bagel. The staff were courteous, seated me quickly, checked on me to see how I was enjoying my meal and service was prompt. I would totally recommend this place to everyone - especially for breakfast. I'm knocking off a star for that half bagel and I've thought some of the lunch options are expensive (but good portion sizes).

I really like this restaurant, I've been there many times and have yet to be let down by the friendly staff and great service and of course the excellent food! It's a great place to start your day with their healthy breakfast menu. They have a lot of variety, to name a few; the veggie breakfast, avocado and egg, poached egg, pancakes and French toast with organic Canadian maple, the full Irish breakfast and much more! The veggie breakfast is great; two fried eggs, hash brown, beans, cherry tomatoes, long strips of toast (really great bread) and this amazing tasting hummus with poppy seed mixed in. I feel it's a well cared for breakfast as you don't find great vegetarian breakfast options in limerick. The avo and egg breakfast is delicious too, toast with avocado and a sort of sweet chilli mixed in topped with egg and some healthy greens! If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend the French toast served with maple syrup. Although for what you pay for it's not a whole lot! Going there for lunch isn't the best option for vegetarians, they don't have much to offer but I would highly recommend the Hallumi wrap! Served with tasty fries and the wrap is mixed with a chargrilled veg cous cous and hallumi. For meat eaters there are many things to choose from and I'm sure it will satisfy you! Really nice atmosphere in the buttery and great even for a tea or coffee! Check this place out

I ordered the chorizo frittata for breakfast, very nice indeed. Nice interior. Friendly but not overbearing service.

Popped in for breakfast on our way from Dublin to Cork. It was a 30 min wait for 4 for Saturday Brunch. TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT. Staff was super friendly (Irene was so bubbly!) and the food was delicious. I ordered The Clean, which filled me right up without making me feel heavy. Sad to miss the bottomless Prosecco on Thursday's!

Not sure how this place got the reviews it did. Stopped in for breakfast, got very tough, over-cooked steak and dry scrambled eggs for 10€.

We stopped in for a light lunch, typically a scone and tea. We met Son of Monster Scone. Very tasty. Great accommodating service.
