The Burrito Bar is a modern food and drink venue which is sure to be popular despite a lot of competition nearby in the brand new development at Everton Park.
I visited with my partner quite late one Friday and they weren't too busy. The place itself was dimly lit with a cool, friendly atmosphere. There was comfortable seating and we were greeted immediately by a lovely waitress who seated us and took our order with a tablet. Interestingly, the tables had Jenga available to play and we, as well as the other diners, enjoyed it.
The menu included simple Mexican dishes such as burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas with chicken, pulled pork and beef meat filling options. There was also dessert (chocolate nachos and churros) and a large variety of cocktails made with tequila or vodka.
I chose the pulled pork quesadilla which was tasty and not too spicy however i would have liked it to be thicker and therefore, more filling. Someone quite hunry/ with a big appetite may need to order extra dishes to be satisfied.
The cocktails are impressive, served in a very tall glass and quite strong so they are great value for money. Only thing is, I can see heavy drinkers coming here instead of a bar which is fine except when we were there, a group of drunk people were loud and annoying, disrupting the ambience of the place. That is certainly not the venue's fault though! Just something to keep in mind.
Overall, it wasn't too expensive and an interesting place to eat and hang out. Great for a group of friends or a date night and I recommend checking them out before they get busy :) read more
