The Burger Underground is amazing . The Burger was perfect, at a mediumish temp and perfectly seasoned. A good quality beef and a toasted bun. #PLEASEOPENINPLAYADELCARMEN

We walked to the listed address on Ave Ninos Heroes and were disappointed not to find them there. They must have recently one block closer to the beach. They are now located at Ave Javier Rojo Gomez Lt 11 Sm 2 Mz 15. I had the Charly, my girl had the Trish. Both of them 10++. Not just the best burgers in PM, the best burgers we've had anywhere in a long tome. No beer so we drank Diet Coke.

What you see is what you get.

There comes a time in every man's life that he realizes he does not know everything and must be willing to give things a chance. That day came yesterday. After 5 days of vacationing in Paradise and eating amazing Mexican and seafood 3 times a day I hit a wall. The wall that says nothing is good and I just want something else. Men, we've all been there. So while walking past this place day after day and saying to myself it's a burger joint in Mexico it can't be good, I decided to look up the reviews. Upon doing so, they were all raving about the burgers. So I did what every man would do I hemmed and hawed to my wife that's what I wanted and we walked over. Once at the front of the establishment I did again what every man does and second guessed myself and told my wife let's walk around the block to just to make sure there was nothing else we wanted. We made that loop and it was go time. No more stalling, no more excuses, just the decision on what to order. The menu has a great selection but the burger that caught my eye was called "The Big E". After talking to the owner Joe, a Detroit native, he explained that it was created as a nod to the Big Mac. I won't go into all the details here but I honestly could not stop eating it. The meat to bun, pickle and special sauce was spot on. My wife ordered The Little E" and left two bites but struggled not finishing it. Again to be clear this is a legit burger that truly shocked me. If you have the chance or already have visited Puerto Morelos put this on your list. Joe and his staff are truly great people and love what they do and it shows.

If you're ever in the Puerto Morelos area you must go have a burger here! Absolutely delicious, flavor and the way it was cooked was perfect, soo good I even forget to add any condiments to it. The service is also great, the owner was there the day we went and he was very attentive and a really nice person

If I could give La Sirena more than 5 stars, I would! I…read morefirst reached out to La Sirena a few weeks before our trip to arrange a sunset dinner for a bachelorette party of 11. Then, on the day of our reservation, the guys decided they wanted to join us too - suddenly we were a group of 21! La Sirena graciously accommodated all of us without missing a beat. I had pre-ordered appetizers- delicious roasted Cheese Saganaki, Fried Calamari, Tirokafteri, Tzatziki + 4 or 5 more, including mac and cheese. Every one of them was a hit! I was covering for the group, and from there the staff took everyone's individual drink and additional food orders and even helped us manage separate checks. With a group that large, that alone is impressive! The service was fabulous, the food was excellent, the sunset atmosphere was beautiful, and the live band was fantastic. We had such a fun night. But it didn't stop there. A few days later, we chartered a fishing boat and came back with mahi-mahi, amberjack, and porgy. We brought our catch to La Sirena, and they prepared it for us - grilled and fried - and served it with fries and an absolutely fantastic salad for only $15 per person! It was delicious and an incredible value. My picture does not do it justice - it was excellent! They even helped package all of our leftover fish into separate containers so we could take it back to our hotel and share it with members of our group who hadn't gone fishing. And THEN there was the margarita glass! We loved La Sirena so much that we bought one of their beautiful handmade margarita glasses to bring home. Sadly, despite our best efforts, it was completely crushed during our trip home. I reached out to Anthony, and he was wonderful. He worked with me to arrange for a replacement glass to be shipped safely to us with insurance. That level of customer service -especially after we'd already returned home -says so much about this restaurant and the people who work there. From accommodating our last-minute group of 21, to the wonderful service and live music, to preparing our freshly caught fish, to helping replace our treasured margarita glass, La Sirena truly went above and beyond for us again and again. We can't say enough good things about this place. If you're visiting Puerto Morelos, do yourself a favor and go to La Sirena. Great food, wonderful people, fantastic atmosphere, and some of the best service we experienced during our entire trip. Thank you, La Sirena and Anthony, for helping make our trip so memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Special place to end the last night of our vacation in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Very good seafood…read more Everyone enjoyed their dish. The shrimp scampi could use more seasoning however. You get quality, quantity and presentation. The ambiance is a winner! 5/5. Very close to the beach. The open air patio dining with a ocean breeze to cool us off. The margarita was delicious and hit the spot. Service is excellent. A winner all around. And icing on the cake - salsa band and dance lessons offered on the top floor many nights of the week. Fun!

Three years prior it was known as Blue Fish and the food was memorable and tasty. Now it's called…read moreLimon y Sal. The menu changed up a bit but still offers seafood. Service needs work. The good: - Located at the Grand Mayan, pool side. - Precautions are taken with covid. Servers wear masks. Tables are socially distanced. - You can sit outdoors and have a meal. - Guacamole and assorted cracker basket pair well together. The bad: - Nachos are horrible. Do not order unless you want to eat burnt tortillas doused in rancid oil. - Severely understaffed in one of the busiest locations. - Doesn't offer water. It must be bought. Went for lunch while hanging out by the pool. I had been a few times in recent years so was happy to be back until this experience.. I had sat down and ordered before a large table was being served, except, they received their appetizers and drinks before me. I chalked it up to minimal wait staff. The nachos I got as an appetizer didn't look right. Many chips were burnt to a crisp. Thinking nothing of it, I began picking at the middle parts but a couple bites in determined that they didn't taste right either. The person I was with agreed. To me, they tasted like the oil had been reused over and over. I waived down the server to express my dislike. He didn't seem impressed. Seeing other tables recieve a complimentary chip basket that we didn't get was strange, so I waived down another server to ask about it. The server we asked wasn't our guy so he passed on the memo and our guy returned annoyed by the request saying he had forgotten. Plus everything took so long.. Given that I had to switch out the nachos for something else, went with the mixed yellow ceviche (appetizer), which was really good and made up for all the earlier mishaps. My dining companion requested a grilled salmon burger. They had eaten it at another location on the property one night and compared the two; this fishy was much smaller in size. Yet, we made do. My ceviche was really good. There were lots of different kinds of seafood in it; scallops, octopus, grouper and salmon in a citrus marinade. It came with nothing but since we had a complimentary assorted chip basket, that's what I ate it with. Keep in mind that they have two menus; lunch and dinner. Not all the offerings are provided in both menus. Lunch has more selection.

We decided to check out the Blue Fish since we heard from a couple of people their ceviche was good. We decided to give it a try & see if the Blue Fish really lived up to its hype. Upon arrival , the restaurant was very modern , and the vibrant colors filled the room with its lavish surroundings. I loved the ambiance of the place. The service was excellent, and the ac was blasting which was really nice. I also loved the complimentary bucket of chips. It was different and had plantains and sweet potato chips on top of the tortilla chips. The 2 dipping sauces were both very good as well. Drinks Margarita: The margarita was okay. I was hoping they'd have a lime on the edge. It was a little bitter for my liking but it was drinkable. 3/5 Chavela: My God I think this would have to be the best Chavela I've ever tried. It had a nice balance of saltiness and was super refreshing. 5/5 Food Mixed Yellow Ceviche: This ceviche had a mix of different fish. It had scallop, octopus ,grouper ,fresh salmon, with a yellow Peruvian citrus chili sauce and cilantro .I loved the flavor. It tasted like it had coconut, ginger, and citrus. It was amazing. Had this twice because it was that good. MUST HAVE! 5/5 Peruano Ceviche: Carribean grouper, red onion , Monzano chili pepper , lime juice and cilantro . This one was okay. Just tasted very citrusy (lime ) felt like it was missing something. 3/5 Annato Crispy Calamari: This dish was Such a disappointment . The Calamari was burnt to a crisp and almost tasted like fried squid. It was too over cooked 1/5 Tacos Gobernador: I've never had shrimp tacos before and this one really blew Me away . The tortillas were fresh, the shrimp was marinated in chipotle Chile & the Oaxaca cheese tied everything together. It was amazing!5/5 Seafood Alambre tacos: I thought I would've been sick of tacos already but nope. They have so many different variations , why not try everything. This taco was a little unusual ( in a good way ) It had shrimp , octopus , calamari , and scallops cooked in bacon . Yes you heard me , bacon . Bacon makes everything taste better. The flavors meshed well together and the tomato avocado salsa made it exceptional.5/5 Overall this place was our go to since we were craving seafood a lot and the ceviche really hit the spot. The service here is amazing and our waiter Josue really gave us world class service . Our table kept rocking back and forth since the floor wasn't leveled and he took out a paper, folded it and stuck it under one of the legs and voila , problem fixed . 5 star service . As for the food stick with the mixed yellow ceviche and the gobernador tacos and trust me you won't be disappointed!
