The burger was plump and the sweet potato fries were amazing. They serve it with marshmallow fluff. The produce on the burger could not have been more crisp and fresh. I had the trailblazer burger. The avocado was so green and wonderfully paired. The Gouda cheese was melted just right onto the burger and the whole grain bun did not get soggy while eating which seems to be a problem with bread in this state. They were pretty quick although there outdoor area overlooks a lake which is beautiful while waiting. Love this place!! read more

Here for vacation was tired of all the seafood and just wanted hotdogs and burgers. I got the hotdog and it was very good they are HUGE and it comes with two. My finance got the trail blazer burger and he said it was a 7/10 and the patty was very good but the onions were old. My mom got the maui burger and said it was okay but a little dry. The fries were DELICIOUS with the ranch or blue cheese. The vanilla shake just tasted like it was straight from a cows tit, however the strawberry shake was very good. Stopped here on the way back to Ocala. My wife and I both ordered the bison burger. I had a huge order of onion rings, and she had a likewise sizable amount of sweet potato fries. Both orders came with a pickle spear and coleslaw. Each burger was cooked to perfection, with white cheddar and garlic mayo on a brioche bun. Food arrived quickly, as service was fast and attentive. Total, with drinks (up to 3 refills for non-alcoholic) was $35. It may seem a little steep, but you do get a good amount of flavourful food for the money. Well worth. Just about an eh.....lot of flies inside the restaurant. I had the single cheeseburger, not special and undercooked. Seemed expensive for the quality. Nice you can sit outside and see lake Hernando. Nicely redone filling station with good decor. But I don't go out to eat for the decor. Very good consistently cooked burgers, good flavor, fresh ground beef. The 6 patties amongst the three sandwiches we had were identical. Toppings were fresh and ripe. No pink tomatoes to be found here. Lettuce was crisp and green too. We did not try the fish or chicken, will give that a try another time. Will have to grow tired of the burgers first. It may be a while. Buns were brioche or 7 grain whole wheat. The brioche went very well with the burger. Fries were not heavily seasoned, nice crinkle cut. Seating - Most of the tables could be moved around to accommodate as needed. Seating for around 40 inside, about 52 outside. Ample two and four seaters, a few 8 seaters too. I would not be afraid of coming here with 8 or 10. Don't be taken back if there is a long line, it moves quick. Had our food about 6 minutes after we placed our order. Found another good place to relax and have a good very filling meal! Other tips, grab tableware and condiments you desire after you order, it can get crowded in there. Restroom is outside on the NW corner. It is handicap accessible. read more
