Came here as a referral from a friend and please note the location is by Security Square Mall (possibly a 2nd location? ) not sure but glad they're in the area. Since I wasn't familiar and I was starving I ordered a few things so I would be able to give a well rounded review: Buttermilk pancakes: Huge, very light and a distinct sweetness before syrup was added Honey-Hot Chicken Biscuits w/Turkey bacon and Eggs - Chickken was seasoned and moist, biscuits reminded me of my grandmothers -fresh, thick and could go well with some old fashioned Alaga Syrup and lots of butter, the honey hot sauce was just okay(I could go without) but it was a nice addition to the meal - Turkey bacon was a good quality not the paper thin version Peach cobbler Cinnamon Rolls - could use a little more baking but the flavor was there - I placed mine in the oven for a few minutes overall it's worth the trip as they are pretty big Blueberry Lemonade is sweet addition to the meal and I will choose again. My overall on this establishment is that a good choice for brunch. Please pack a lot of oriented as it's worth the wait for it to be cooked to order. Had been eyeing the bunch gods for a few weeks, as finally got to order last weekend. Their food looks incredible on Instagram so I could only hope that it tasted half as good. Well, good news, it tasted just as good!! Everything we got was amazing, and we got a lot! The menu changes weekly, and we made out! Customer service was great, and food was just coming out for the time I ordered (love when it's made to order)!! We got: Sweet potato pancakes with brown sugar butter - yes and yes! Apple french toast - thick challah bread, the only way to French toast Friend chicken egg and cheese sandwich on challah French toast bun - what sounds bad about that...nothing, nothing sounds bad about that Crab Mac n cheese - I mean, c'mon. Let me start of by saying, that cinnamon roll that I had was a 10 out of 10!!! I wanted to try out the peach cobbler cinnamon roll (yes it is a such thing!) but I was trying to go the safe route. The chicken was pretty good as well, juicy and crispy. The waffles were not my cup of tea but everything else I had got was great! I enjoyed my time at The Brunch Gods. I was going to be in Baltimore for the morning and decided to give this place a try. The staff were very professional and accommodating. I made a mistake when ordering online and I immediately texted the restaurant to see if they could accommodate my change of order date; they responded quickly and was able to accommodate the update. I really appreciated this communication, customer service and willingness to support the customer. The food was great. I wasn't sure if and when I'd return so my wife and I purchased three items; shrimp and grits, apple filling French toast, and the bacon (turkey), egg and cheese pancakes. When we go to a place for the first time we usually order multiple items in the menu in order to have an opportunity to review many items in the event we never return to the restaurant. The food tastes good, was great quality and hot. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical because I had never experienced eggs, bacon and cheese inside of pancakes, so I went into the first bite very cautious however I was quickly reminded why I wanted to give this place a shot when I first saw the photos and video on the IG page. The real-life presentation is similar to online. These pancakes are so delicious. I feel like my preference moving forward is pancakes with protein filling of some sort. I'm not sure why it took me so long to finally try pancakes like these. I also was skeptical of the turkey bacon because I'm not an avid fan of it, however if they didn't tell you it was turkey bacon you would never know. The texture and taste was similar to pork bacon and I guess it's because all bacon takes on a similar texture once cooked in a wet batter. My wife and I talked about this and how the pancakes really didn't require much syrup, if any at all, because the pancakes were very flavorful and moist given the combination of ingredients. The shrimp and grits were very thick and cheesy just how I like. The apple-filling French toast was very good and it seems every week they change the French toast filling to offer variety. Updated because I have tried new items... 5 stars for ALL items. Everything was flavorful and so gooood! Each meal was split into 2 meals for me because of the nice portion size. Awesome black owned business! Crab ball fries: The God's sauce is amazing. They make their own fries and you can definitely taste the difference between places using frozen fries. Catfish and grits: The catfish and greens are seasoned so well and perfectly cooked. The greens were a surprise to me because I didn't know it came with it. Both items go well over the grits. Shrimp and grits: I like how the sauce goes with the grits. I normally do not eat grits without cheese, but you don't need to add cheese to this meal. It is perfect as is. It is a little spicy, not nothing major... I'm not a spicy food fan so if I say little spicy, it is likely not spicy for spicy food lovers. ~ I enjoyed my breakfast from The Brunch Gods. I had this place on my " to do " list for at least two months. Always forgot to place my order tho. I had the peach bourbon wings meal with double mac & cheese, along with the Cajon shrimp & grits. I ordered the chicken because I wanted to try something different in life. To my surprise, they were on point. Mac & Cheese was good as well. I was looking to get my true satisfaction from the Cajon shrimp & grits tho. I wasn't disappointed, but it didn't blow me away. (pause). Nice size shrimp. Wasn't selfish with them either. I didn't quite catch the "Cajon" flavor, but the grits' texture was cool as well. On Sunday, a group of us enjoyed brunch under the trees by the water at Fort McHenry. We pre-ordered the food on Friday morning and picked it up on Sunday. The food wasn't quite ready at the time we expected it, but it was worth the wait. The large order consisted of a few chicken and waffle meals, a few apple french toast dishes, blueberry pancakes, garlic noodles with chicken, a few sides of peach bourbon wings, and side of mac and cheese. By the time the food arrived at the destination, it wasn't hot; however, it was still warm enough to enjoy. And if the food was so good warm, I can only imagine how it tastes when it's hot! Still, everyone enjoyed their food - so much that not one pic was taken lol I can't wait to try the other dishes. No matter what I order, there will always be a side of wings I get to go with it, especially since I've been raving about the wings since Sunday! I really wanted to love this restaurant. I admire the owners/cooks hard work ethic but the food wasn't what I expected. The cinnamon rolls are real bready/thickand were not moist. The red velvet waffle was underwhelming and they forgot to include enough chicken tenders. The cooks did rectify the matter by giving me a free cinnamon roll and chicken tenders. Ruined Mother's Day 2021. Pre-ordered back in APRIL wanted to support a Black business for my special day. Drove OVER AN HOUR but it was cool because it was a mother daughter adventure. Got to the place (no signage, good luck folks). Got there and was hit with "I'm sorry. We are only doing catering orders today you couldn't have ordered". Hit him with my receipt... here's your refund ‍. Very nonchalant, some lame "here's a coupon for your next order". Poor customer service, poor business practices even for a pop up. Hopefully your experience will be better. I'll never know because now I get to go to McDonald's on Mother's Day because I didn't make backup plans. Very disappointed!!! read more

The Brunch Gods do a pop up on Sundays in East Baltimore. The Pop Up is pre-order but also allows you to order via Door Dash on the day of. The menu changes week to week so that they can offer a variety of dishes. After following their IG page, I took a leap and made pre-order. I ordered the Tereyaki Garlic Noodles with shrimp, the Apple French Toast with a side of bacon, and the Peach Bourbon wings. Everything was good but my fave was the Garlic Noodles. I didn't have a lot of sauce but the flavor was so good. Overall, they have good food, decent portion sizes, and good prices. I'm definitely ordering again this weekend. read more

I randomly came across Brunch Gods a few months ago on DoorDash. I followed them on IG and noticed how delicious their food looked, so I decided to order. Best decision I've made! I've pretty much tried everything on their menu and I have not been disappointed. My favorite is the crab fries. I'm not sure what sauce they put on those fries, but it is delicious! They hold a preorder every week while changing up the menu. You can only get your food on Sundays, but it's well worth the wait. Sadly, I was disappointed with my French toast sandwich (Marcy's breakfast sandwich). The bread is barely French toast...barely dipped in egg batter. It's still pretty much bread so if you're a French toast lover this isn't for you! When I bite into it I only see bread that the batter did not get to. But the sandwich was warm and ready at my pickup time which I commend them on. I would try them again but something else! Food is expensive so it may be a while. The food was decent but we'll never go back. We ordered online and picked up at the Windsor Mills location. Once we arrived my husband told them the name for our order and she said it's not ready. Multiple people came in afterwards including Grubhub, whom the young lady gave our order to. They then proceeded to remake our order without telling us what was going on, then Grubhub returns with the food, they then give him another incorrect order and chased him to his car to exchange. Mind you we're still waiting, then about 15 mins after the Grubhub guy leaves they call my name and tried to give me the cold Grubhub food instead of the food they remade!!! Why!!! Why would I take that, and why would they offer it more than 15 mins later! Who does that, you don't know if it's been opened or eaten, and they already remade my order. We declined and they hand us the food they just made. Just baffled by the whole situation, the customer service and concern is non existent! I do not recommend this place. read more
