I LOVE this place. I moved away from Madison for a time, and I would drive back (a total trip of six hours!) to get my brows done here. It's very affordable, and I would say the max time I've waited was maybe fifteen minutes. I've had bad experiences at the location on Odana road, so I would absolutely recommend the downtown one. read more

Ashu did a wonderful job with my lash lift. Super convenient to get it done while I'm also in for threading.

This place is my go-to for a brow clean-up. I get my brows threaded, and this service only costs $13. They always do a good job! I always walk-in, and if busy, I usually wait for only about 10 minutes. The service itself is also only 10 minutes long. The staff is really nice and they always hype me up afterwards! They have made some mistakes before, such as removing too much hair between my brows, but they are open to comments and listen to my concerns. read more

It was wonderful! I walked for my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and it was a great experience. My eyebrows cost around $13 and the served was great. Very clean and organized inside. No wait at all. read more

I was in town and needed a place to get my eyebrows done. If only I could transport the entire location to where I live, I would. Ruby and her associate were amazing. Ruby talked through each step to let me know what she was doing and verified along the way that I was happy with the shape! Thank you! read more

I've been coming to to the Brow Boutique for the past three years now! Tina always takes great care of me when threading my eyebrows, even with my sensitive skin. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

I have naturally thin eyebrows and I went in for a "clean up". She ended up making my eyebrows even thinner and rounded out the natural arch so now I look like a cartoon character. I will say I've gone here in the past, and while the owner is very nice, I was never over-the-moon about the way my eyebrows were done. I didn't hate them, but they always felt a tad over plucked, even when asked to keep them as thick as possible. This time, however, they look ridiculous and I am going to have to find a new place to get them done once they (hopefully) grow out. read more

She helped me immediately and did a great job with the threading. I have naturally thick eyebrows and made it clear that I didn't want to change the thickness, just a clean up and she followed my instructions well. Throughout the session she had me look in the mirror to make sure I was comfortable with the clean up. She was also very sweet and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here! read more

Absolutely love this place they consistently do an amazing job! I am a man with very very thick bush eyebrows naturally and a lot of places struggle to get my eyebrows even, I have rn ever had that issue here! Every time I've gone (which is quite a few times now) they are always perfect symmetrical and styled how I like them! They keep them thicker for me as I like while still giving me a smooth fresh look! Will definitely be coming back for the forceable future! Not to mention the women that work here are extremely sweet and accommodating :) read more

Ruined my eyebrows. I wondered why it hurt so bad turns out it's because now I have 2 straight lines on my face

I went to the Brow Boutique for eyebrow threading, and they did an amazing job. I have thick eyebrows which are done unevenly on occasion at other threading salons; however, at the Brow Boutique, they not only evened them out but also kept them full and gave me my desired shape. Will definitely make this my usual spot! read more

I wish I had discovered threading a little sooner. this is my second time trying it. My skin is very sensitive, so I've been waxing my eyebrows since forever and it has always been a little traumatic to my brow. Waxing is followed by redness, breakouts and discomfort. I haven't had this problem with threading, my eyebrows look amazing and this second time around I had her thread my chin also to clean up my silhouette for pictures (I'm getting married next week!!) $20 plus tip and I look and feel like a new person. *side note-don't be alarmed/caught off guard-- if they tell you they want to thread a part of your face you hadn't intended. Stand your ground. Only you get to decide how much hair is too much on your beautiful face. At this time I'm happy with a little fuzz on my upper lip. A+ for value A+ for skill read more

This is the second time this year alone that I've gotten my eyebrows done. I like my eyebrows natural and I usually pluck them when they start to misbehave! The brow boutique is a house on the corner of Gorham and State. I went in on a Thursday around 5 and I was the only customer. I told the woman doing my brows that I like them natural, she understood and literally took less than 5 minutes to thread my eyebrows! There was a little pain but it was over before I knew it. If you're looking for a quick place to get your eyebrows done, I recommend the Brow Boutique. read more

The Brow Boutique - Very natural, I wish I had a before pic of my caterpillar brows :) - Threading Services Near Me - Madison, Wisconsin

Fast and painless! The employees are very friendly and do a great job. The best threading place around.

Amazing job for an extremely low cost! You just walk in and put your name in on the tablet, then just wait to get you service done. I had my eyebrows threaded and she did awesome! read more

I went there today and Tina did my eyebrows and it was my first time and she made it super easy and my eyebrows ended up looking super good!

Great final result that's affordable, but I prefer the westside location despite this being more conveniently located to my home. Things that are great: + quick - even if it's been a long time since I've taken care of my brows, I'm out in 5-10 minutes + affordable + clean + my requests for a natural look have been honored + no lasting redness or other skin issues Things that are slightly less great than their other location: - there isn't quite as much space which can get crowded if there's a line - when trying to express what I want/answer questions the threader I've happened to get immediately cuts me off and just repeats the word "okay" over and over and over until I stop talking - the end result is always fine, but it just feels rude and I've had to learn to adopt one-word answers/requests All in all, though, it's a quick, easy experience with great results and I recommend giving threading a try if you haven't yet. read more

Went in and asked the woman for a "clean up" and to leave the thickness of my brows. Instead, she thinned out my brows and completely changed the shape. Would not recommend. read more

10/10 for location right down town, next to a parking lot and mins away from State St 8/10 for fast service 3/10 for the long waiting line with only 1 technician 6/10 for the bit pricey price I come back here mostly because I could not complain about the service they provide here. The technician knows what she was doing and without long explanation, she make your brows on fleek in just a matter of minutes. The only thing I wish they could change is having more than just one technician so the line won't be too much of a wait. And allowing customers make appointment ahead of time. So if you plan to have your brows done, better plan for at least an hour of waiting time. read more

Sara does such a superb job at the west side location! She's friendly professional & you can always tell she cares about the client! she's makes me feel confident about my face & I highly recommend her next time you visit the Brow Boutique!! read more

I had the WORST brow experience here. I was already apprehensive going here because I believe threading to be hit or miss, and I wish I never went. My eyebrows just needed a bit of shaping and cleaning up, but the woman decreased my brow thickness by half, and the insides of my eyebrows are not even. I have never been more disappointed in a service than I was at The Brow Boutique on West Gorham St. I can honestly say based off of past brow growth that it will take close to two years to get my eyebrows back to the way they were. read more

Bummed to be writing this. I've been going here every few months for 3 years and it has taken me a long time to grow my eyebrows. Today I went in and within 30 seconds the string snapped. It then took longer than usual to finish. Turns out I left with 90s brows: thin and misshapen. Won't be returning and I'll find a new place when my brows grow back. read more

love the odana location and staff! nancy is super gentle and awesome!! they are always professional, you never have to wait very long for service, and if there's some reason you are not satisfied with how it turns out, they won't give up until they get it right I love supporting these local women read more

I've been going here for 3 years and everything about it is great! You will never wax again! Fabulous price on services! Way more affordable than waxing and better for your skin. No need to call for an appointment & it's so quick! Even if there's a few people ahead of you, you won't wait long and will come out looking your best! Staff are super nice and professional. She spent quite some time on my face Ann's chin. She was thorough. My only issue is the lack of a magnifying mirror and light. It causes small facial hairs to be ooverlooked. read more

This place is fabulous. Tina did a wonderful job with cleaning up and shaping my eyebrows. I've been going to the Brow Boutique when Ashu had a tiny space off of Mineral Point Road. I was recently excited to learn they opened a downtown location., since driving all the way to the West Side location can be somewhat of a nuisance. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over a decade. If you've never done this, it's absolutely worth it, as it lasts longer than tweezing read more

I love getting my brows threaded here. The lady who does the threading is very nice and always makes my experience positive. It is not too pricy at all and my brows always look amazing after coming here! Definitely my favorite threading place I've ever been to. read more

Now, most folks don't have perfect brows right off the bat. You've got to work on it. And me, being lazy and always out of town, I definitely don't work on it. Usually I run into the dubious honor of being the person with the least amount of foresight when it comes to brows--I remember the day before an important event that it would be good to have clean brows, I freak out, annnddd.. I run to the Brow Bar. The lady who runs this place is always wonderful. No frills (though I love the offer of aloe at the end!), no fuss, and I'm in and out in 10 minutes or less (usually, as long as there is no line) with perfectly done brows. I've done threading for a while, and most locations clean my brows as if the stick thin thing is attractive (on my face, it's not! I just look surprised). I always specify "keep it natural, just a clean up and shaping" and she has never let me down. It's always exactly what I want. The one caveat is that if you get there at the wrong time, the line can be a bit rough (and with only one lady there, the wait can get long). However, I've found 4:30-5:15 to be a good time to go on the weekdays, and Saturday is pretty open! Relatively inexpensive, clean location, easy to get to (walk to, even!), fast service upon walk ins--love it. This is my place for brows in Madison, I don't go anywhere else! read more

I am devastated. I went in for a clean up and came out in tears. I have been coming here since 2016 and this is the only bad experience I had. If it wasn't for the gravity of how bad the situation is, I would have given 5 stars. Before going in, my eyebrows were of average normal thickness and now they are thinner than what I had them in the 90's (I was a teen then). I would never have agreed to eyebrows this thin. But wait, it gets worse. My right eyebrow has a very obvious scar within it. Because the lady (didn't get her name... about 5'3", not overweight but not skinny, long hair) made my eyebrows so thin, I have slightly over a half a right eyebrow. It is slightly over half an eyebrow, gaping hole with no hair and then six hairs. I said something right away and she kept going on about the scar and that it looked fine. No, it doesn't look fine. She said oh no body will notice. Not even five minutes later, I met with friends and they noticed right away. If it were just that my eyebrows were thin, I might not be as upset but missing part of my eyebrow... I just want to cry. Eyebrow hair doesn't grow as fast as regular hair and this is going to take a long time to be partially better. I tried to aid the situation with some makeup, and that didn't help even a tiny. Obviously, I wouldn't be going there again after this horrible experience... Honestly, I probably won't be trusting anyone to do my eyebrows again... I am not saying you shouldn't go there but if a woman that fits the description is there, be cautious or you might end up with super thin 90's brows and if you have a scar, you might end up without part of your eyebrow. read more

Sophia at the Sun Prairie location is an artist!! She does an amazing job on my eyebrows every time!

Convenient walk-in service with parking lot next door. There was one client ahead of us but threading is a very quick service so I was not waiting long. Very friendly service and walked out with gorgeous brows! Will come again and again read more

I absolutely love my brows every time I leave here. They are always fast and detail oriented.

I've been to the Odana Rd. location a number of times, all of which have been wonderful. Decided to try out the one on Gorham as I was closer to that area at the time. After my recent visit, unfortunately, I think I'll continue to make the drive to the west side in the future. There was only one other customer finishing up as I got there, so the wait time was next to none. Once I got in the chair, I wasn't even able to let the woman doing my brows what shape I would like before she had the thread out and was trying to push me back in the chair to get started. When I attempted to stop her and explain what I was looking for, I was all but yelled at for the interruption. After trying to explain again, and being attacked, again, I gave up and hoped she would just clean them up and retain my natural shape (which, luckily, she did). The actual threading process was equally off putting. I have never had someone thread as forcefully and carelessly. She managed to break the thread not one, but two times in the less than 5 minutes I was in the chair because of the amount of force she was using. Once I got home and was able to check out the damage (for longer than the 15 seconds she put a mirror in front of my face at the end of everything) I found hairs that had been broken, many that were just missed all together, and spots where she had clearly just ripped off skin, leaving open, bleeding wounds. I normally break out for a day or so after threading, but it's been a week now and the pimples and scabbing is just now clearing up. All in all, just a bad experience. I work in customer service and I get that people have off days and bad moods. Unfortunately, I must have managed to come in on one of those days. Many of the reviews I've read have mentioned that this woman is very friendly and attentive, so I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. As such, I'm leaving a two star review instead of one and hoping this doesn't happen to someone else in the future. read more

Got my eyebrows threaded for first time. After this experience, I will be coming back. But I will say I do prefer waxing. However, that's just my personal preference. I plan to continue getting my eyebrows waxed while I'm back home but will come here for touch ups. The lady, Beena, was very friendly. She made my first experience very comfortable. read more

On travel visiting a friend and desperately needed to have my brows done. First time threading! There was no wait at the time. I checked in and was graciously welcomed and educated on the art of eyebrow threading. No discomfort or anticipation of pain like with waxing. After the completion, was offered a brow fill in with their brow dip, which was a nice addition. The brow dip is not something I would normally do but hey, why not? I like the precision that the threading method gives my brows. I can do without the brow dip (powder). This was a good inexpensive experience that I would highly recommend. read more
