I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bull Malarkey's, and it was a standout experience. As…read moresomeone who appreciates attention to detail, I was thoroughly impressed by how pristine the entire establishment is--everything from the dining area to the restrooms is maintained to an incredibly high standard. Beyond the cleanliness, the atmosphere is warm and exceptionally welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the owners go out of their way to ensure every guest feels truly taken care of. It is rare to find a place that balances such professional upkeep with a personal, "home-away-from-home" feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a quality experience. The food is great. The plates are small ( which is fine ) but it would have been nice to have a bit of room to cut up my food , and I'd add a second side to anything that's not a sandwich, but even with just one side ( steaks get two ) you don't leave hungry. ( extra sides are 4 a piece) The only other suggestion is a basket of homemade bread would be perfect for this establishment . It's a southern food , steaks and gravy type place. A basket of bread would make it perfect . Great place though . We would go out of our way to stop again.

I wasn't very hungry but needed some of those bull beans with sour dough bread. My husband ordered a 8oz filet and those yummy loaded mashed potatoes . I seriously should have taken some beans to go for my dad to try. We love the atmosphere and smiling faces. They were busy and rightfully so! Next time, I plan on trying those fried pork chops!!

Very friendly welcome when we walked in the door. The nice lady at the counter walked us through the process and explained the menu. In order the fish and shrimp combo with tater tots and it came with a "salad bar" and pinto beans. The salad was really fixings for a sandwich or burger and some sauces. My Wife ordered their famous cheeseburger that appears to have won "Best Burger" many times by the plaques on the wall, and their onions rings. Everything is made fresh so we waited about 15 minutes while sitting in the dining room with a great view of Lake Bridgeport. Food was delivered and it looked great and smelled good. My fish was crispy, with a cornmeal batter that was seasoned very elk and it tasted GREAT! The shrimp has a panko breading that was crispy and cured my craving for fried shrimp.Tots nice and crispy, maybe just a little too crispy, but they were very good. Large portions for sure. Our appetizer was a jalapeño sausage, wrapped in bacon and topped with melted cheese. Wow! Excellent pop, not too spicy and the flavors melded great together. The cheeseburger was a short rib grind burger patty, thick and full size. Taste was excellent but the firm texture of the short rib meat may surprise you. The star of the burger was the bun; jalapeño bread reminiscent of a Shlotskys sandwich bread but nice and soft. I could eat just an order of those buns. Overall food 5 stars. The dining room a solid 4 stars as it is showing it's age but we will visit again the get of their great, well priced food.
