The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very nice. We had breaded mushrooms, that were ok. The cheese steak was just ordinary. Not much seasoning for taste. For it being a pizza restaurant, it's was very disappointing. We ordered the meatball. The crust was cracker thin and burnt on the bottom. No taste at all. Wanted the food to be so much better than it was :( read more

Casual and cute pizza joint in the adorable downtown area. Service was friendly and fast. They carry local wines--including Lonesome Vine! (ALL the LV wines are incredible!) All the pizza ingredients were super fresh and our food came out fast! I would say our pizza needed maybe two more minutes in the oven, but it was still pretty solid! We drove to Nocona, TX this weekend to see their downtown and Lake Nocona. We went to eat lunch here. We ordered Mediterranean Pizza, Mozzarella sticks, Stromboli and Fried Mushrooms. The pizza dough is freshly made, not frozen. The ingredients were fabulous, but not enough to fill the 12" large pie, few meats and veggies were spread around our large pizza. The manager/owner should see to it that the items being done in their kitchen should be well checked. The mozzarella sticks taste great. The Stromboli bread is baked with lots of meats stuffed inside it. The fried mushrooms are not greasy, it's delicious. Serving staff are friendly and gracious. Single $ Yelp code price is terrific. This place is so cute! We came to Nocona on a day trip to Muenster and added Nocona to see the car museum. I found this place on Yelp! after we were disappointed in Muenster and were very pleasantly pleased. We were warmly greeted, sat at the bar, and the service was friendly and excellent. We tried the Cheese stuffed fried ravioli, which as a huge departure from most fried raviolis are completely stuffed 100% full of cheese, expertly fried, and crispy, tasty, and served piping hot. They are smart enough to bring them as soon as they were ready instead of waiting for the rest of the order. The Garlic Cheesy Pops pack a punch of garlic... they were SOOOOOO YUMMY! Always good food here. I come here often. Today I got the mozzarella sticks with dipping sauces and a pizza. The owners are always nice and the food comes out in a timely manner. If you want a drink they have beer and wine plus coke products. It has a hometown feel to it when you walk in. I highly recommend this place! read more

We came to town to buy me some boots however, my wife got some and not me... go figure. Stopped at the car museum which I will yelp later. The service here is great. The owner stopped by our table and we had a pleasant visit. We each got individual pizzas. The pizzas had lots of toppings, generous portions. I got the meat lover, my son got a margarita and the wife got a Hawaiian. Yes, my wife has the taste buds of a circus freak. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Came in with my husband to try it out since we are staying in the area for work, and we were definitely not disappointed. We had the margherita pizza and the Murph pizza; both were delicious. We also tried the chocolate caramel delight pizza for dessert and wow it was so yummy. If I could give it zero stars I would, but terrible customer service. Even when I placed my order they were rude to me. I went inside to get my order and the worker completely ignored me and didn't say anything or bring me my order instead she was on her phone. This might have actually been the worst pizza we've had. Very thin, not completely cooked and hardly any flavor. Pretty sure the breadsticks were the frozen variety. The dessert pizza was okay, but still weirdly not cooked. Very unfortunate, we were hoping to find a good pizza place close to home! Watched the staff leave orders sitting under the heat lamps instead of helping each other and delivering to tables, just a whole odd vibe. Super disappointed read more

Between baseball games yesterday I brought my son to the Nocona Glove Factory for a tour. Afterwards we stopped by the pizzeria, because we had read good things about it. Did not disappoint! The place is spacious and clean and very welcoming. Nice long bar for watching games. The staff seemed pretty young and we had a couple different people take our orders, but they were all very nice and the food came out quickly. We had the toasted ravioli and two personal 8-inch pizzas. Dakota's was a little underdone and the pepperoni soaked his crust, but he loved it. I had an alfredo sauce pizza with bacon, ham and basil and it was OUTSTANDING. That and drinks for around $20 - we will definitely be back. read more

Always amazing! We brought a friend who was visiting (he worked in the restaurant business for years and is a pizza connoisseur) since it's one of our faves and were anxious to hear his thoughts...He raved and raved!!! Perfectly thin and crispy crust, high quality mozzarella, and great service. We came with our 4 kiddos and as soon as we were seated, a sweet lady brought each child "wiki sticks" to play with and keep them busy. Let's just say, as a result, it was the most delightful dinner for the adults and kids alike! And now we are ordering more for our own toy stash back to the food- we ordered several pizzas that were all very good, and they offer meatballs as a topping, so we had a pepperoni and meatball pizza. WOW. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Soooo we ordered 1 to go and killed it late last night just as good reheated! So pizza and spaghetti was good here. PThe cooks need to be schooled in proper food handling techniques, they were young men (older teens). One in particular with long hair, and a full beard was observed often stroking his hair back, putting fingers in his mouth all the while working with peoples food......not good. The other two were observed doing things that were not good food handling procedures. There was also little to much goofing around in the kitchen area as well. So be aware and informed. My wife and I love a day trip. She saw RRP featured on the PBS show "Day Tripper" on Saturday. We came here on Sunday. Takes about 80 minutes from North Fort Worth. Great thin and crispy pizza, hospitality and ambiance. Tony, the owner, was so cordial!! C'mon Fort Worth! Y'all got to get out and come here and support this wonderful family business!! We will be headed back soon for more pizza and to visit the Horton Classic Car Museum across the street. Overall, it was a great Sunday trip to Nocona. read more

Not impressive at all. I got my pizza to go. If I had been served this pizza "dine in", I would have sent it back. The crust was totally burnt. Not a little browned but completely burnt black. This should have never been served to a customer. It should have been tossed in the garbage. The flavor of burnt overpowered the cheese and the little bit of sauce they had used. read more

My wife and I went to Nocona for the Mardi Gras festival but it didn't start until that evening so we decided to find a place to have lunch and a beer. We stopped in at Red River Pizzeria and had a great time. The food was wonderful and the hospitality was top notch. The owners (Tony and Teresa) came by the bar where we we sitting and introduced themselves. Super nice people that definitely understand service and hospitality. We mentioned it was my wife's bday so they insisted on buying her a dessert pizza. Very thoughtful! Thanks Tony and Teresa! The only negative (which I love) is trying to fold a slice and take a bite is tough because the three balls of sausage rolled right off the slice. Fixed it by breaking them up so they wouldn't roll! Great taste. Sauce and cheese were just right and the bottom crust was very nice, held together under the weight of the toppings but still gave a soft mouth feel. Loved the pizza! Mozzarella sticks appeared be freshly made: great breading and soft, warm cheese. Excellent side dish. Service was right on, it was ready we when showed up three minutes early, greets warmly and checked out within four minutes. Dining area was clean, TVs not too loud and lighting wasn't too bright. We will go back after I finish off the leftovers. Best pizza in town for sure.

Since we were there for brunch, there is a "limited" menu....but, all of the brunch menu is delicious! The chef even came out to check on us and it was easy to give her praise! The ambiance is inviting and emotes an "Italian vineyard"-like vibe. One can easily get swept away by the gorgeous decor! We missed the live music that accompanied our first brunch. But, we will continue to keep this great restaurant as part of our upcoming Sunday routines!
