The menu was varied with many authentic Vietnamese items. We are big fans of the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and of course, peanut sauce; so we ordered those at Hope's recommendation. She also suggested two entrees in addition to the appetizer. My husband always enjoys lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowls and so we ordered that for him. I gravitate toward eggplant on almost every restaurant menu that has this luscious vegetable. So, I chose to order the grilled eggplant entree that included jasmine rice and I added grilled shrimp skewers to mine for some added protein. While we waited for our food, we could not help but notice the absolutely beautiful decor within and a very tasteful mural with a Vietnamese scene. The plates on the tables appeared to be handmade and added a nice touch. We also noticed that the diners receive their food pushed out to them on carts by the waitstaff. That was an awesome touch. They compensate for the lack of cart delivery of our takeout items by placing them in the most lovely and sturdy paper bag with the restaurant logo on it. Those touches do matter. Hope even brought us a Mango Iced Tea that was made with house made mango syrup. It perked us right up and gave us the boost we needed to continue on to the hotel to prepare for our in room picnic. Our food was over the top delicious and everything was very crisp and fresh. The presentation of the dishes was just beautiful and we thought the spring rolls had a particularly beautiful presentation and the colors of all the food were so vibrant.
