This store was so charming! I loved the cute decor. There were so many options for foods, snacks and drinks. I got the aero orange chocolate balls which are delicious! My husband got irnbru orange drink which was so unique. It tasted like orange soda, bubblegum, and creamsicle all combined in my opinion. I was back today, and one of the items purchased was the scotch egg. It was incredibly delicious! I must note that the packaging did state the need to cook however I checked with the store, and this was not required. When I'm missing home, the British Choice food selection keeps me sane, and the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. read more

Not to be confused with the Bitchy Depot, which is where girls like Barbi go there with the sole intention of teasing people, and also being whiny and mean. It's an amazing shop full of British goods. They're expensive, more so than at HEB, but the selection is infinitely more massive, and your money stays local which is a big deal to me and should be a big deal to everyone really. One of the best British stores I've seen in the whole country to be honest. I'll now be a regular. read more

*** DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU ARE A MINORITY.*** I am a person of Indian origin and have visited this store a handful of times in the past. I decided to drop by here today around noon. Usually I come here for snacks and chocolates and even in the past I noticed that they would never greet anyone who is a minority when they would walk in. I did not give it too much thought and mostly ignored it. Today when I walked in - I noticed that half their store was empty and the AC was off. I was looking for chocolates and all workers present inside the shop knew I was THE LONE CUSTOMER there. As usual they didnt greet me or ask me if I needed help. After about 5 minutes of walking around a Caucasian mom and daughter walked in and low and behold the Caucasian workers RAN UP TO THEM to greet them and inform them that the chocolates were being kept in the back room in the cooler as they had some sort of AC issue in the store. Then this worker walks past me...looks at me...knowing that I have been looking around for something..and DOES NOT SAY ONE SINGLE WORD and walks back to the counter. The two workers that were present there KNEW VERY WELL that I was looking for something for 5 plus minutes but never paid me any bother. This is NOT THE FIRST TIME that I have encountered such treatment at this store. They will always ignore minorities and never greet them or ask them if they need help. This lady is older, Caucasian, and wears glasses and has white peppered hair. TO THE PERSON WHO OWNS THIS STORE "YOU SHOULD BE ASHMED OF YOURSELF HAVING A STORE IN A MAJOR DIVERSE AREA LIKE KATY FULL OF MANY CULTURES AND TREATING THE COMMUNITY LIKE THIS!" ALSO *** DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE ..THEY UPMARK EVERYTHING...GO TO INDIAN/PAKISTANI GROCERY STORES AND YOU WILL FIND THE SAME CHOCOLATES FOR $2.00 - $5.00 LESS (depending on the size) and they are the original CADBURY chocolates. This is a cute store with a wide variety of products. I would have given it 4-stars, except we were completely ignored. There were three people behind the counter- not one said anything when we walked in or as we walked around the store (we were the only people inside). I took my purchases up to the counter and put them down. Two of the employees were talking and did not look up or acknowledge me at all. After standing there, the third person said oh I can take you at this register (and the two ladies still didn't look my way or acknowledge that I had been standing there waiting to be checked out). read more

Katy, TX 77450 is the real address, use apple maps bc they have the right location (as of 7-18-21). right by tiger noodle house/dentist/behind freebirds. love this place, came here in a pinch on clotted cream bc no one else had it anywhere. they have tons of pasties (cornish & many others), battenberg cakes in fridges too (i love anything marzipan but shockingly haven't had one b4, i know they have the tricolor marzipan pastries at lots of places but i think these are better), and lots of other temping things but i'm hooked already on their pasties and battenburgs. they're very friendly and appreciative of the business so it's hard not to want to return asap! read more

I have been waiting for a spot like this near me for so long. After my trip to England I have craved so much and boy did they bring it!! From beans for breakfast, dark chocolate Kit Kat's to clotted cream for my pastries all the way to authentic shepherds pie they had it all! I came for their opening day and it was packed with eager guests. Everyone that I spoke to was so pleasant and just as excited as I was to be there. I can't wait to go back and hopefully have more time to look around! read more

My mother wanted mincemeat and luckily I was able to find it at the British Choice for a fraction of the cost of the other big box online stores. Unfortunately when I paid with Paypal it converted the shipping address to mine instead of my mother's. I contacted the store and Sue was very helpful with getting the correct address for shipping, shipped the same day and delivered the following day. My mother is very happy and they did a wonderful job of packing to make sure the product arrived safely. Wonderful experience and will use for any of my mother's future needs. read more
