The fenugreek was in powder, seed and dried leaf form, so all I needed! They have pretty much all middle eastern, and some North African and Far East spices. It's mostly processed stuff, like almost all things in boxes/bags, but there were obviously some fresh halal meats and fresh herbs, veggies too in the back. There were a bunch of boxed spice mixes too for like kabobs etc. And lots of nice drinks, I'm a sucker for medio litro cokes, you know, the big size, and they have them real cold here! The guys working here were super nice and helped me immediately find that za'atar after I gave up looking (because there are so many aisles of spices). Super cool to have access to a middle eastern grocer so close to home, I feel ashamed I haven't been in here before. Planning on coming here often now!

If you need some groceries imported from Russia there are not too many options in the Houston area. It's not an area that you associate with masses of Russian immigrants. But here is a place that has all your Russian import needs and it's pretty amazing. Houston has decent sized pockets of just about everything, so no wonder they need a good chunk of Russian grocery stuff for the Russians. I'm pretty sure the people running the place support Ukraine independence too. If they didn't, I might not visit often. Some of the imports are even good value, which is unusual for imports. You'd be surprised how not overpriced some of the things are. A much bigger selection than you'll find in any of the grocery stores.
